Rancilio Silvia Espresso Machine

Disclaimer: We are the people that provide 'pid' computer temperature controlled Silvias here on eBay. I've seen almost 600 (SIX HUNDRED) of them here.

Wide temperature swings of over 60 degrees F are the major cause of complaints of the machine being 'fussy'. With skillful handling, this problem can be reduced, and shots will be more consistent. With the addition of a "SMART" temperature controller, ROCK SOLID brew temps can be achieved, resulting in excellent consistency from shot to shot.

There ARE cheap controllers out there for about $20. They do not look or WORK at all like ours. NOR do we provide USED parts.

Now back to the Silvia:

With just reasonable care and feeding, a Silvia can last 10 years or more. Indeed, in August, two OLD Silvias, 8 and 9 years old respectively, were sent here for a tune-up and installation of our 'pid' temperature control system. Other than a minor cleanup, they were both ready for several more years of good service to their owners. (NO aluminum parts to corrode)
