Rambling Rose (DVD, 1999)

Currently you can find this movie for sale only in a full frame format. There are however two other "out of print" formats available, mainly the two disc special edition. This movie is a four star movie with great character acting. It's a wonderful storytelling movie with an all star cast of Robert Duvall, Laura Dern, Diane Ladd, John Heard, and Lukas Hass. Released in 1991, it is a four star movie that for the most part fell under the radar, but everyone that I know that has seen it considers it one of their favorite movies. I ran across it on television one night and realized how much I had liked the film when I had first saw it in the early 90's. It is an excellent movie for collector's and if you can find it in any format; I highly recommend adding this film to your collection.

smoldering sex appeal creates quite a stir, in
the family and in their whole town.

A very good movie with true to life characters and a story line about the way it was in the memory of an adolescent boy. Perhaps a little too true to life.
