The documentory covers parts of Ram Dass's life that have not been covered in his books. I like that it shows some of his private work that he has done, and the heart felt reaction of individuals who's lives he has touched. A very good overall picture of his life.

) I origionally had a strong resistance to reading books by Ram Dass so the last thing I wanted to do was to watch a DVD on how God can let down, with a stroke of all things, someone who teaches non-violence and the true path to God, enlightenment. I think I was most impressed at how Mr. Dass has taken this horrible mishap and added it to his "list of experiences." As a 60's person and someone who also studied meditation and yoga, I didn't read BE HERE NOW, I wasn't interested in any author that thought the way to God was through drugs. I apologize Mr. Dass, there are many roads to God and they all are exactly the same. This is one of the best buys I've made this year.
