Raising Helen (DVD, 2004, Widescreen)

I seriously dig Kate Hudson; she is so adorable and refreshing. Like Julia Roberts when she first started out in "Pretty Woman". And who can forget John Corbett in "Sex & the City" as Aidan? The perfect cast in this movie, with Garry Marshall as the director. I love all the movies he direct, like "Pretty Woman" and the "Princess Dairies". Watch for Joan Cusack's performance too; she is hysterically funny as the sister of Kate Hudson.

Anyways, "Raising Helen" is a very touching, heartwarming and cute movie that touches my heart. Kate Hudson is a terrific actress, and she always melt my heart. If you enjoy this movie as much as I do, please also watch "How to lose a guy in 10 days", "My big fat Greek wedding" and "Serendipity". Have Fun!

I loved the story line and the co-star connection between john corbett and Kate hudson is amazing, kids in the movie are pretty amusing too. super cute!!!

Raising Helen works pretty good; however, I had to clean it very good so it would work. There were, what I believe, were cleaning marks on the back of the CD that would not come off regularly.

The price was excellent. I was not able to find it in the store so getting it on line was wonderful.

The movie worked like new. I had not problems with the movie and it came with a case and free of damage.

This a great Love Family Comedy type movie.
It also has a little Drama, which makes me cry at the begging of the movie, but it is needed to get the movie going I gess.
This movie is great! The pass is not to slow or to fast, except I do not want the movie to end when it does.

I have been looking forward to owning Raising Helen since I first saw the previews on tv. I like Kate Hudson as an actress.

I frequently prurchase DVD's from EBAY. The prices are so good that I will occasionally purchase a DVD I haven't seen. That is the case with Raising Helen. The movie was a very light comedy without any truly endearing characters. Certainly above the genre of "Jackass" movies--but in no way excellent. A worthy purchase for someone who enjoys light comedy that is
suitable for the entire family to watch!

I purchased this DVD so cheap that I could not believe it played so well. The movie is fantastic and now we've added it to our DVD collection for a great price. It made a great gift for my kids! Thank you Ebay. It's a great family story with a lot of heart and how could you not like Kate Hudson.

This is one that is certainly worth it and can be viewed by young people as well without worring. A great family movie and very down to earth real life situations.
