This is the first DVD in the series, and a wonderful series at that. We start off with a young man, Ayato Kamina, and follow him throughout the episodes. Beautifully drawn with fabulous animation techniques, RahXephon is a very unique anime. Classified as a mecah anime (giant robots), it has it's own twist on the mecha genre, adding some supernatural happenings into the mix. While a wonderful anime (rated 15-17+), without keeping your attention to the DVD the entire time, you will probably miss something vitally important to understanding the ending. With that in mind, it may leave a viewer confused as to what is actually happening. The screen is basic, like any ADV menu- episode selection, language/subtitles (sub:English/dub:English/Japan
