I bought this book because I love here personality... And it comes out in all her books... and her recipies...

Watch here on the FOOD CHANNEL... She is awesome. If it's not $40.00 a day, or 30 minute meals... or any other program she is on... she is very down to earth... no ghimmicks... no.. BING BANG BOOM... Just Good Fun Food!

This book is great for when you know you are going to be on the move... Quick To Make... Quick To Eat... Great for those days when you have 2 ball games.. and you don't want Fast Food!

Thanks,

Garry, KCebay.com

I love this book and all of her others. The main thig I like about is that it's all NO NOSENSE, Nothing to go out and buy that you have never heard of before.

And she helps you make such wonderful meals so Simple and even Fun! Because it doesn't take that much time. :-)

Rachael Ray is like having a built in assistant!

This book was purchased as a gift for my daughter who is a veterinarian and has limited time for meal preparation. Prior to sending it to her, I made notes of special items to have on hand and suggestions for "pulling everything together" in an expedited fashion with great ease! Ms. Ray puts the "EASE" back into meal preparation and keeps it healthy! A must have for every kitchen!

I bought this book because I am a die hard Rachael fan. I love the book because the ingredients don't break my budget. I have tried several other RR 30 MM books, and sometimes I can spend almost $50 on the sutff to make it! I have a pretty well stocked pantry so this is the book for me. I can run to the grocer and pick up the few fresh items needed to complete the meal and normally spend under $10! Also, with a picky husband and a 3 year old I find it hard to please both all of the time. I have made almost every recipe out of Express Lane Meals and all have been a hit! The MYOTO's (make your own takeout) in this book are the best so far. BUY IT!

  Rachel Ray Rocks!

This cookbook is the real deal. I am a cookbook junkie, and this book is great. I love the fact that it provides a list for staples that should always be in your cupboard or fridge and then it also tells what you can buy in the "express lane" for your meals. I have tried many of the recipes and they are simple and delicious.

  Nothing Special

I love Rachael Ray on TV, but just like the 30 min meals cookbook I received as a gift, this on is impractical for a family with small children. The recipes say cook great meals with things you keep in your kitchen, I don't keep white wine in my kitchen, or fresh herbs, because I do not drink, and fresh herbs go bad quicker than the ones in the jars. I made the Apple Chicken recipe out of this cookbook, it tasted awful,.. my husband is so picky about his food and he wouldn't even try it. So if you are someone who is not on a budget when it comes to your money and your groceries, like I am, then maybe this is for you. But it's not for me. I have two small children and am going to go back to chicken nuggets, carrot sticks, peanut butter and jelly and macaroni and cheese. I am just glad I didn't pay full price. Good Luck

Express Lane Meals means that they are quick and easy meals! the title speaks for it self on this book and if you are not familar with ray's cooking then I suggest that anyone who has to cook anymeal either buy her books or check them oout from the libary. trust me you won't be sorry!

I bought this cookbook for my 22 year old college son. He needs recipes that are quick and not very complicated! He doesn't have time for cooking, he says! Her cookbook is easy to read, shopping lists are on each page, plus he loves Rachael Ray. I thought that this book was great for him because it serves many purposes. I would suggest this cookbook to any single parents, working moms/dads or kids in college. It was worth the money!

I like that there is a clip out grocery list to take to the store with you of all the items you should have on hand to make quick and easy meals. I do not a lot of the recipes on this book because it seems a lot of them are tomato based and we don't really care for tomatoes, tomato paste, etc.

I love this book - The recipies are all so tasty, creative and easy to make but be warned there is a lot of butter, cheese, bacon, etc etc in the recipies ... I try to use Pam instead of oil and less butter and they all still come out very yummy.

I watch Rachel on the Food Network and she has such energy and POW!! I bought her book and am very pleased to see that I do not have to go and buy a lot of condiments or foods I have never heard of- these recipes work for me-even if you can't 'multi-task' she even includes that in her recipes! Another winner for Rachel!

My Wife the racheal Ray fan

I thought this book might be a good idea because my wife has other books from rachael. She has done a marvelous job teaching my wife how to cook! Before rachael, I was the sole "chef" in my home. I glanced through the book and I'm more than ready to try my wifes versions of Racheals recipes! Anything to give my wife guidance in flavoring her food, I will go with! Thank you rachael ray and ebay for letting the seller give me a deal that will fatten up my belly...thanks again, Dave Rhyan

I originally brought the book because I'm a huge fan of Rachel Ray's 30-minute meals TV show. The book is great! She tells you EVERYTHING you need to know on how to prepare the dishes. The only thing that I dislike about the book, and it's just personal likes and dislikes, is that there are more recipes in there that I'd never try simply because it's not within my usual forte of dishes.

I have watched the show and thought I'd be interested in the book and I was wrong. The book you need a lot of the items on hand and stored in the fridge. Plus most of the recipes called for food that my family didn't or wouldn't eat. I'd recommend that you tried to view the recipes beforehand if you can before buying it. If your family doesn't like most of the ingredients that are used than don't buy this book. I wished it had more pictures in it to be able to see the full effect of the item being made. I believe most of the recipes needed the main ingredients though so I wouldn't suggest replaceing them with another.

I really enjoy it. I love the fact she tells about what stock to keep on hand and what you need to shop for. It really spells everything out wonderfully.
The recipes are great. I saw my brother-in-laws and like it so well I had to have one.

This cookbook was perfect because she gives you a list of staple items to have on hand. Then each recipe just needs a few extra ingredients to make each meal. It is a huge money and time saver for in the kitchen. I really appreciate Rachael's efforts to help people become better in the kitchen.

As a working single mother of three children, I am always short on time. With this cookbook, I am able to make delicious and healthy dinners for my family in a short amount of time. Its very easy to cut corners and buy processed foods because they are cheap and easy....Now I dont have to. My kids LOVE the fact that they get to try new things and even get to help.
This cookbook was definately worth it. I would suggest anyone give it a shot...you may surprise yourself and realize like I have, that you can cook too!!

I love how each recipe lists a shopping list. Very easy layout. The only thing I wish it had was a picture of each recipe. Overall, I love this cookbook! I decided to buy it because I've been watching her show this season and I like the simplicity of the recipes she does on the show and I thought this cookbook would reflect similarly to her show.

  Racheal Ray Cookbook

I bought this book about 3 weeks ago. I really like the book, I am a Racheal Ray fan. What I like about the book is that it is food that I would cook for my own family. Simple ingredients, and fast cooking time. I like the pointers on the side that tells you what you might need from the store and what you should already have on hand. Also that the recipe is on two pages so it is easy to follow when you are looking back and forth. I also like the way that when you read it , it sounds just like her talking to you. YUMMO. Very Racheal. The thing I don't like about the book is that it is a soft cover. But all Racheal's books are soft cover. I own two of her books and have tried many recipes, and have loved them all. If you want to try fast and easy recipes, that taste great, this is a book for you.
