RIM BlackBerry Bold 9000

I won BB Bold 9000 on June 20, 2009 for USD$ 330; and shipping USD$ 8.89; & I paid it by PayPal a day after include shipping cost/expense to Jakarta Indonesia. I recieved the item after three weeks later. I take the item at Post Office and pay the tax 17,5%. I open the box (all asseccories are complete as mention on ebay) but the BB Bold 9000 was very dirty, scratch every where especially at the edge. I put the battery to the handset and it didn't work at all. I charged it but the phone just blinking several times then stop blinking and off. I emailed M Miles (Seller) regarding the condition, he just said "It must be work, you have to charge the battery or changed it, and it will work", he said that he will give some credit for the battery. Then I go to BB Bold Service Center just to check the condition of the item. The service center said that the phone is broken need to change/replace the IC RAM and it costly.
I inform to M Miles the status and condition of the item, he refuse it and blame that the item must be broken while shipping to Jakarta. I don't think so, since the package was in good condition and shape. He give me two option either refund or send it back to repair since he had a warranty. I take the first choice (refund my money). He refused it and said"I sold you and mailed you a working phone, this phone was working great when it was shipped to you, how am i suppose to take it when you sent it back dead??? i can work something out and do partial refund". I send him an email several time but no answer till I write this review. It was tired dealing with this "Thief Seller" and don't ever dealing with him. This is really bad luck...
I loss :
1. BB Bold 9000 price USD$ 330;
2. Shipping cost twice USA-Indonesia-USA USD$ 40;
3. Tax of the item USD$ 55;
Total loss : USD$ 425;

Hope it only happen to me not to your ebay buyer...

I've been using Blackberries since a blackberry was thought to be something you would find in a muffin. The 8800 was the one I was using until I was given the Bold and, up until then, I thought of it as the best Blackberry ever. Then, the Bold came and it is probably safe to state that the Bold is now the last and the best classic Blackberry ever because the Storm, lacking a physical keyboard, probably deserves its own class.

When the Bold and the 8800 are placed next to each other, what's striking is the similarities between the 2. The exact same size, similar keyboard, buttons placement, including the now familiar trackball. Even the ports are more or less the same, the same weight. Mine came with its own holster but I could have used the 8800's with the Bold.

Then, it's the display. The Bold is what it says it is: bright, clear, vivid. You see it and you now know that it's an evolutionary step up on the ladder. In addition, you get the camera that shoots both pictures and video and the ability to add more memory means that you scan store more video and more music if you want to use your Blackberry as an iPod lite. The operation seems to be a bit faster, the battery life is more or less the same, the quality of the speaker phone is better but, overall, it's your familiar Blackberry, having learned a few new tricks and with a bright face.

I am happy with the Bold because I am happy with Blackberries in general. I like the unlimited email and Internet browsing plan, the ability to use Wi-Fi when available and the security it provides. My Blackberry is tied into my company's email environment and it is now very much an extension of my office while I'm away. The Bold, with its high resolution screen and the same solid, functional build is a good tool, now with more 'fun' stuff (camera, video playing) added to it.

I bought the new Blackberry three weeks ago and was immediately impressed with the number of features available on this inexpensive phone. The Speakerphone keeps great quality . The NewPhone's size is perfect for carrying in a pocket and the battery has a pretty good lifespan. The menu system on the phone is great and easy to organize to your needs. Overall, I'd recommend the phone if you're on a budget.I have my Blackberry to keep that sync between my pc, laptop and mobile life.

Nice format, easy to use. Nice big button compared to former Blackberrys. Good signal compared to former Blackberrys. Big screen. Camera with flash is nice.

I bought the Blackberry Bold 9000 three weeks ago and was immediately impressed with the number of features available on this inexpensive phone. It has a 1M-pixel camera, video camera, and speakerphone. The NewPhone's size is perfect for carrying in a pocket and the battery has a pretty good lifespan of roughly 4 hours. My only complaint is that the menu system on the phone makes you click four times before you can find someone in the address book, set an alarm, or perform a additional functions. Other phones I've owned have simpler menus and get you to important features easily. Overall, I'd recommend the phone if you're on a budget. this phone is way better than my previous phone.....Iphone 3g!! seriously!

It's definitely a great Blackberry. I loved it and it worked just great. It looks really nice and special, and the one I bought was "Made in Mexico"! Not "Made in China". The style is really cool. It's really a good phone, and recommend it to everyone.

Simply put... this is the best phone that I have ever had... it has all the features needed to complete almost every job out there. It is elegant, powerful and extremely reliable. And when complemented with the Blackberry Internet Services... there is simply no comparison... Wonderful!!!

I loved everything about it!!!! Yet the poor speaker quality was an issue because of prior damage. It was and easy fix for a ECE but impossible for anyone else.

Love everything except the irregular network connection. It drops calls more than your average ATT blackberry or cell phone. Have multiple other ATT phones in the same calling area and this by far drops the most calls. To be fair my iPhone drops about 40% of what the Bold does. Other than that it is solid. Replacement parts including different back covers found here on Ebay make it and easy and CHEAP fix or upgrade. Just search for limitless accessories for it. Other than that it is fast and the screen is fantastic. Does everything any other blackberry can and probably more. GPS and wifi work fine.

Simply put, the item is not working. And CANNOT be fixed. Sent an email to return it. Did not receive a reply.

I had been looking for like this for about six weeks. I did not want to spend more than $230 for a used phone and this was in my price range and came with a memeory chip BONUS... The only thing I did not like about it was when I went to put my e-mail in this phone I had to call AT&T to have the other two removed, I kept getting all the Facebook e-mails on my phone that I really did not want to see. Everything else is GREAT.............

I only bought this because I want to have a blackberry, although I would be happier if there were unbranded ones coz it seems like all blackberrys were under a service provider. Judging by my experience with other celphone brand, I would say blackberry is not totally advance when it comes to interface features.

It's the best blackberry in the market. 3G and full definition screen. Excellent size, no so bulky, great to buy.

found a great price, good old fashioned customer service, which is not available in most markets today. i recomend doing business with this company.

it is a good phone and exactly as it was described. When i received it i got some problem with atnt and connecting the bbm feature. but when it was solved the phone turned out to be the best phone i have ever had. no problem at all it was great

the ad said brand new but when received it looked used or refurbished... feel like ive been tricked..
