This surround sound system had great sound and was easy to install. It was also easy to uninstall and throw in the trash when it quit working about 6 months after I bought it! I ordered mine brand new from a catalog and paid close to $400 for it. For something that costs that much it should have lasted way longer than that. I would have expected better from Rca. Very disappointed. The only reason I gave a 3 out of 5 is because the sound really was good while it lasted.

) Do one thing and do it well. This RCA does just that. Less than 30 minutes to set up. Easy color coded wires, speakers and connectors. Only hooks up two ways, standard video or component video. Bought one for mothers day for Mom's living room. Makes plenty of noise and the bass will rattle the windows. Stereo and surround separation are superior. So far has played every version of DVD and CD we have, and the FM tuner is a big plus. I just bought this one for my bedroom TV so I can watch my SCI-FI movies in surround with limited bass...works great, superior picture on my tube TV and perfect surround without waking up the whole house. A great buy at this rock bottom price - especially with my stretched budget in these hard times. Originally had a similar Samsung that only lasted a year, so bought the three year warranty to play it safe. Highly recommend that for the extra couple dollars! Happy movie viewers in SW Florida!
