RCA M4002 (2 GB) Digital Media Player

I got both an iPod and the OPAL for my birthday and I have to admit, the Opal is outperforming the iPod. It's simple, durable and versatile. Unlike the iPod which is so proprietary and expensive, the OPAL has to be the best bang for the buck. I also love how you can use this to play videos too! I highly recommend this player!

I love i have been using it for a while now and it works great! I would recommend every one to buy it. Holds lots of songs and is small enough to go anywhere the best mp3 player i have ever had!

My husband bought one of these for my birthday. He had gotten a generic brand that he used to work out to, but it was definitely sub-standard. When I got this one, we both fell in love w/ it. It's so easy to navigate and find exactly what you want. And you can download pix or video, too! I bought him the exact same one for his birthday a week later.

I COULD NOT USE THIS PRODUCT BECAUSE IT DID NOT COME WITH A POWER CORD AND THERE IS NOT ONE AVAIBLE FOR IT.

Pros: Designed for XP,works with Vista too.
Good storage for cheap.
Light and thin, seems stable.


Cons: Software on cd worked with XP,but gave an error during Vista install so I just use media player and sync the device.
Could use a better interface,like being able to go <back> without having to hit the menu button twice to select another song.
Could use more disk size, 2 gb is ok, but lets face it, it could be bigger for about the same money.


Overall, i really just wanted it to plug in to my car's cd player instead of screwing with a bunch of cds. It works absolutely fine for this. if you want something to store a whole music library on, youre gonna need more capacity.
For the price, its a pretty good deal.

I enjoy working on my computer or playing computer games and i can listen to my favorite music at the same time my son also uses it when he is at work to make time go by faster and helps keep him awake because he works on 3RD shift just what i was looking for.

This is the RCA M4002 OPAL mp3 player. I bought this item for myself because I liked the design and the fact that it had a bigger screen than my PHILLIPs 2 GB mp3player even though it cost A LOT less!! I have had no problems putting all kinds of meda on it inculding videos, music, and my pics. The silicone in-earphones are comfortable compared to the other ones that did hurt my ears. I alos loved the colors which are CUBBIE blue and white. IT's as light and compact...perfect fit for my pocket. It holds about 680 songs and the screen is good quality for the price.

I bought this RCA MP3 because I had another one just like it and I lost it and when I sw this one on ebay I just had to have it! I just love it! For me 2 GB is more than enough I have 72 songs and still have 1.5 gb left to use! I recommend this MP3 player,godd quality!

I ordered this item thinking it was complete, only to find when I recieved the item it wasnt. I cant be used like it is. Seller offered to let me send it back but then I would be out 2 shipping costs. Overall good communication from seller.

I liked this little RCA mp3 player,synced quickly with windows media player and within 5 minutes I had over 500 songs on it.I have tried 4 or 5 different mp3 players and I like this one as well as any,(excluding any I-pod)it is about the size of a small wafer thin cell phone,and seems durable enough to slip in any pocket with out worrying about breaking it.Light weight,thin,plays video`s,records voice,and it isn`t trying to be an I-pod clone.My only complaint,the usb cord is too short,seriously another foot or so would be nice,I had to use an extension just to hold it up on the desk when I connected to the computer.

I bought one for my wife at Christmas 2007,Wouldn't come up on the PC,Took it back to WaLmart got another one,Them I bought me one on Ebay,Then my wifes quit charging.Sent it to company,They sent me a new one,Said charge 8 hours same as
others wouldn't charge,So I sent it back waiting for it now (will be # 5 }
I sure wouldn't buy another one.

It is small and compact and easy to carry anywhere. Othe rpeop[le in my family have them and love them just as much as me.
