I bought "The Quiet Man" for my Dad, who is a tremendous fan of John Wayne. This movie is a classic. I seldom pass up the opportunity to watch it when it is televised.
"The Quiet Man" tells the story of a famed American boxer who quits his career after an opponent is killed in the ring. He then moves to Ireland, the home of his ancestors.
I could give you a blow by blow of the story, but I'd rather just say that it is a sweet story with countless wonderful actors, lots of smiles and laughter and a one times fight scene that will delight any viewer.
I highly recommend this movie, and, if you watch it, you will too!
