Greg Iles is as good as Grisham when it comes to legal thrillers. He is even better when it comes to incorporating a mystery into his works. His books can keep my lights on all night; for two reasons;1) I want to finish the book! 2) His books can scare the daylights out of you; a good "scared," that is!
"BLOOD MEMORY" was the first book I read by him and that hooked me. I am now in the process of purchasing and reading all of his backlist titles and eagerly waiting for the next new novel! WHAT A GREAT WRITER for mystery/thriller/chiller fans! Don't hesitate; just do it; pick up a copy soon!"THE QUIET GAME" is set in Natchez, Mississippi, as "BLOOD MEMORY" but this is not a series; Iles makes this part of the country come alive with Southern Gothicism. Great writer!

I liked this book ok. It was a bit longer then it needed to be but the story had several plot twists that kept it interesting. It is a good book to read if you are going to read "Turning Angel" which also features Penn Cage. Greg Iles reminds me of John Grisham...if you like Grisham, you will like this book.
