Ms. Johansen is a superb storyteller that will have you reading this book non-stop. Imagine losing a child and having the killer call and taunt you on the phone all the time? Absolutely gripping!

l bought this book because l own every other book she has written. l love her characters because they really stretch your imagination. There is constant action and drama in her books but with wonderful and pleasing endings. May God bless this writer.

This book had me reading from cover to cover in just one day. I couldn't put it down. If you are a fan of the Eve Duncan thrillers that Iris Johansen writes then this is a must have. Though the nature of the beast or killer in this book is very disturbing the book is guaranteed to keep you going. The play of emotions between Eve and Joe keeps you guessing if their realtionship will survive her obsession with finding her daughter's remains. Mantalvo returns to lend his interference to Eve and Joe's relationship with his obsession to have Eve. Also if you read Iris's last book Pandora's Daughter you will meet a returning character from that wonderful story as well. All in all this is just as good as any of the Eve Duncan books. You will love the twist at the end. I cant wait for her next book to come out and pick up where she left off.

Iris Johansen has once again written an excellant book. The reader continues
to feel for the main character Eve Duncan and her search for her daughter. I was unable to put this book down. I highly recommend this to all fans of Iris Johansen and future fans.

This book is packed with everything from murder to mystery it is one of the best I have ever read. I LOVE THIS BOOK took me a day to read it

Easy to find book and author I was looking for. I don't like writing these reviews. I enjoy buying books on eBay because it costs less than on the traditional book club sites.

Other than I bought the book for a very reasonable price, I love Iris Johansen and the Eve Duncan sequels. I love Quicksand, especially the end, which I will not mention for those who have not read the book and is planning to purchase it. The story line and the recurrent characters from her other books makes me enjoy reading her books a little more. Quicksand is DEFINATELY a good buy!!!

Great Book. Would like more by author relating to Eve Duncan in her quest to find her daughter. Spell binding. Had trouble sleeping at night until I finished this book.

Iris Johansen is one of my favorite authors and though I hate to wait, I usually do to buy her latest off of ebay. This book continues on with her obsession to find her daughter, Bonnie's, killer and body. It continues on with characters from her last book and even brings in one from a couple of books back. It was a great book and I just loved the ending. My mom and I read all her books and she loved it too. I can't wait for the next one now that Joe has his new ability.

I read it. You should too, reading is good for the brain. Sitting in front of your computer all day is far different than using your imagination by reading a book. Don't be a jackass. Try it. I needed the book for my book club and the price was right! I like to shop for book on ebay because you can usually get them at a discounted price and they are in good condition. I have not read the book yet but I will when the time comes to review it.

Another strong book in the Eve Duncan series. In this book, Eve gets closer to finding Bonnie, her missing and presumed dead daughter, and farther emotionally from Joe, her long-time love. It's a fast-paced multi-state journey, first to find the man thought to be responsible for Bonnie's loss, then to find the girl he takes, before he kills her too. Once you start reading you won't want to put it down!

Iris Johansen delivers yet another exceptional Eve Duncan novel/mystery. I have yet to read an Eve Duncan series I have not enjoyed. I look forward to the next.
