The Quickie by James Patterson and Michael Ledwidge

I have read the book The Quickie by James Patterson and Michael Ledwidge and find it a fast- paced novel and one hard to put down. There are a lot of twists and turns in this book. His novels are usually full of short chapters and interesting characters. Many of his novels are quite brutal in description of murder and mayhem, I didn't find this to be so in Quickie. I did manage to read the entire book in one evening, so there wasn't a lot of back tracking on my part to clarify something. For the main character everything goes wrong, nothing is as it seems. You, the reader, are fearful of her losing everything that means something to her. It is not a book filled with torture and slashing like some of his other novels, although there is one scene that is brutal, I can't think of any other. I think you will enjoy this slight change of pace from his Cross series or the Womens Murder series, and I think you will enjoy it, I did and I liked the other series as well.
