This story was about the challenges a family faces on their travels to the West. Sam Elliot portrays a halfbreed who places himself in the position of guardian to a very naive family. The folks did not realize they were in grave danger, especially the wife. There was no law in the west and folks took it upon themselves to do whatever they pleased, whether it was morally right or wrong! These people found out the hard way and with Sam Elliot's guidance they found out what to do to survive. Great actors, Tom Conti, Kate Capshaw, Sam Elliot, etc. This movie was filmed in Arizona and has breathtaking scenery. I really liked this movie because it was well acted, scenery was great and so was the music score.

I bought this because I'm a fan of western films and Sam Elliott is always a pleasure to watch. Good cast and storyline with wonderful scenery , this was Sam Elliott at his best. Western with a love story, a film well worth watching.

If you like a good western that has a great cast, but is very simple and well done, this is one you'll enjoy. Well acted with good chemistry among the characters.

I like that I could get movie I have wanted to see but could not find.I really like Sam Elliott and this is one of his movies I had not seen. I would have liked to have gotten the movie new but I could never have found it anywhere else but on ebay.

This movie is a fantastic movie and I highly recommend it for anyone who is into westerns. I have seen the other Quick and The Dead with Gene Hackman and Sharon Stone and I didn't like it as well.

I love this movie, I love watching Sam Elliot and he is really good in this movie. I read the book as well and enjoyed the movie more than I did the book, so I would suggest this movie to any one that likes a good western movie and likes Sam Elliot too.

MY HUSBAND AND MYSELF, HAVE BEEN WAITING TO SEE THIS MOVIE AGAIN. WHEN I FOUND IT ON EBAY, I BOUGHT IT RIGHT AWAY. THE ONLY THING I DIDN'T CHECK WAS WHAT FORMAT IT IS. WE DON'T CARE FOR WIDESCREEN, BUT MY FAULT.
IN OUR OPINION, THE VERSION OF THE QUICK AND THE DEAD WITH SAM ELLIOTT, IS MUCH BETTER THEN THE ONE WITH SHARON STONE.

This is a fantastic movie. I searched all over and couldn't find it in any video store. It was too old. But luckily I found it on here. I could watch it over and over again. Thank you so much. I am very pleased! :-)

I watched this movie a few years back and I thought it was the best western movie in the last 20 years or so. Sam Elliott happens to be one of my favorite actors. I saw that it was available on eBay at a reasonable price and decided to purchase it. I haven't watched it yet, I just checked to make sure that it would play on my player. I am looking forward to watching it again in the near future.

I really love this movie (The Quick and the Dead) even though it is an older one. I bought it so that I could watch it whenever I want to and also to share it with my friends and family. It was a new movie and I received it just as it was described. I was very pleased with this purchase.

I haven't watshed it yet but it appears to be a brand new un-opened copy and it's a movie written by my favorite author. I received it very soon after the auction.

I like Sam Elliot and will buy just about anything with him in it. And I always like a good Western, which is what he usually plays.

I am a Sam Elliott fan. I enjoy his work very much and will buy any movie that
he has work in. This movie is a prime example of mbhis abillity to perform.

This is a wonderful fun western movie! It has great actors in it. Sam Elliot makes a wonderful cowboy! I have seen him in other western movies and always enjoy watching him! The movie has a good story line and is the type of movie the whole family, including your kids, can watch and enjoy!
