Queer as Folk - The Complete First Season (DVD, 2002, Gift Box; Collector's Packaging)

We should probably make certain that DVDs we are buying are not Chinese knockoffs. If you can get past the annoying (sometimes entertaining) Chinese script subtitles, they don't always work - even play all of the material(like an entire chapter) on the disc. One disc doesn't work at all. Other of this seller's reviewers have complained of the same thing. It truly is a "buyers beware" world out there - especially on eBay.

Love this show...love the characters...love the plots...love the twists and turns...love following this show!

I have seenthis movie many times and now that I wone I will many more. Acting was great..plot was wonderful it was an all around great movie

I think this series was and is amazing. My DVD's were in excellent shape and I had none of the chinese character issues that others have detailed. I highly recommend
"Queer as Folk". Buy it. Then be ready to buy the sequal sets. I have and I certainly got my money's worth.

This purchase was made as a gift. I find the show to be honest and enjoyable.It was surprising to see some of the well known male and female actors and actresses in this show. Although the shoe came from Britain originally, I think it was ahead of its time on the American screen.

Its okay some scratches on dvd which cannot be fixed so it skips some. Its used so what do you expect.

This summer one friend of mine told me and showed me some clips from QAF! And already then I knew that I was hooked up :D I enjoy all the characters, their relationship, the humor, love, sadness, the filming, ahh, there's so much I love, that I won't even try to make a list!
Anyways, this DVD, from this seller is in excellent condition, all DVDs work perfectly, there were no bumps or any other damages and plus it arrived very quickly - in 1,5 weeks. And considering that I'm from Latvia and the item came from USA that's a super fast time for shipment! Highly recommended!!!

Wanted this set for my European trip. Some of the hotel rooms did not have DVD players. I bought mine and I get to see Brian and Justin before bed.

I like this season of the dvd and i hope to get soon the second one. It's in a good condition and it was mail to me vary fast....

I had seen Queer as Folk before and wanted to own a copy.The characters in the show are very likeable. Funny, heartbreaking story about 5 men who are ultimately looking for someone.

I bought Queer as Folk - The Complete Season two weeks ago and I love the series. I have been wanting to purchase the DVD and I found it at a great price on ebay. I will purchasing the rest of the season on ebay.

This collection was not taken as good care as another purchase I have made. The box is a bit beat up and that was not mentioned in the summary prior to purchase. The DVD's seem to be in ok condition though.

I bought the 1st season of Queer as folk as I lost my originsl dvd's in the flood of 2005. It is a most enjoyable made for TV series. I am well pleased with the replacement

I purchased for my nephew who has been enjoy this show very much. The relationships between the characters are riveting.

This show still lives on even after it was taken off the air, and it's not a surprise. This show has the best quality I have seen in a long time. Everyone I know got really attached to all of the characters as soon as they watched the first few episodes. As the people that take part in the show say, you come for the queer and stay for the folk.

THIS IS A GREAT SERIES-QUEER AS FOLK IS FOR REAL. GOOD STORY LINE AND SOMTIME FUNNY! ENJOYED IT VERY MUCH!

I loved that this DVD set was so cheap. The box is a little beat up but for the price you can't go wrong. So far the DVDs play well.

I love this product. It was one of my favorite shows when on television. I wanted all of my friends to be able to see it and watch with me. I decided to buy it when I couldn't find a complete set in any store. I'm glad I made the purchase! The product was in excellent condition when I bought it and I've already watched it several times.

This dvd lets any gay individual experience rapid gay life with out having to fully live it, b/c quite frankly its not cut out for the most of us.
