Queen & Paul Rodgers - Return of the Champions (DVD, 2005)

love queen , love free , love bad company.......no brainer! i was not sure how they would sound together , but since i liked all they did in the past , i gave it a shot and loved it !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Awesome DVD! This band still kicks butt!! Paul Rogers is Great and the band is tight! Great Camera shots that give you all the right angles. Cool moment with Freddy very classy!

This concert video must see every Queen fan! Paul not want to replace Freddie, just sing the Queen's songs perfectly. Roger and Brian is fantastic too.
The highlight of the concert is the Bohemian Rhapsody with Freddie! (We miss you all Freddie!)

This concert is a must see for a True Rock-n-Roll Fan!

A Great Performance by Paul, Brian 7 Roger

Paul Rodgers is still the greatest rock vocalist of all time.

However, singing a bunch of Queen toons is a major comedown for "The Voice."

Paul Rodgers needs to get a band together playing his own self-penned
new material, not singing other people's material. Such a waste of his massive vocal talent.

These guys are living in the past too much. This DVD was put out in 2005, not
1975...

I will say, however, that "Queen"'s rendition of Rodgers/Ralphs "Feel Like Making Love" is just excellent.

Well, where do I start? Firstly I guess, is by acknowladging that QUEEN is and always has been,Rock Legends! Also that Freddy Mercury is (or was) one of a kind!That beeing said, I was pretty skeptical about ordering this DVD, but thought"What the Hell". The first thing that impressed me was,Paul Rodgers did not try to fill Freddy's shoes! (an impossible task anyways, but some fools may have tried it)Yet somehow Paul managed to carry off the queen "feel" while subteling imparting his own style! "Impossible" you ask? Thats what I thought, yet he carries it off to perfection!Vocaly he is nothing short of superb, and as for "stage presence", He totally dominates!
As for the origonal members, Brian and Roger have'nt lost a beat. A little older looking, but still the Maximum musician/vocal performers they always were! Roger's lead vocals on "in love with my car" are worth the price, alone! a Shame that John Deacon was'nt there, but Oh Well!
Summing up, the sound is GREAT, the video is AWESOME, and for any Queen fan, this is a MUST BUY!! roy munro, Nova Scotia, July 16, 2009.
