Queen - Greatest Video Hits 1 (DVD, 2002)

For Queen fans, this is a must for your collection. Anyone who loves Queen will be familiar with the video for songs such as Bo Rhap, but songs like Killer Queen, Good Old Fashioned Lover Boy, Crazy Little Thing and others are also an exceptional treat for the eyes. The youth and vitality of the band at this period in their development is fascinating. Watch for Roger's ever changing hairstyles as the years slide by. Interesting interviews are found on Disc 2. The piece de resistance, however, on Disc 2, is the section entitled Inside the Rhapsody. Brian, Roger, and John give a loving account of the creation of Freddie Mercury's masterpiece from several perspectives. Particularly insightful is the section with Brian sitting at the sound board and using the different tracks that were recorded to demonstrate the complexities of the "orchestration" of Bo Rhap, and the beauty of Freddie's vocals. We give this DVD a BIG thumbs up.

Great collection of videos. Contains all of their videos made from 1973 - 1981 and then some. Early videos like Liar and Keep Yourself Alive, and extras like Good Old Fashioned Lover Boy. Plus a great documentary about Bohemian Rhapsody is included.

I wanted my kids to see what Queen was in their prime. This is a good dvd.
However keep in mind it is VIDEO performances NOT live performances.
A couple of the songs, including Another one bites the dust, are shot VERY
early on, with a broke garage band feel to them. I was shocked at that.
You would think that as late as this was put out they would have chosen
a much better performance of one of their biggest hits.
It was enjoyable, but made me go back to the pc & oder a DVD of LIVE
erformances, complete with all the energy that Fred brought to the stage.

This 2 disc DVD set is a wonderful addition to my Queen Library. Incredible rock band always and ever. There is nothing to dislike about it, except perhaps for some "less than favorite" songs. I love the songs "Good Old Fashioned Lover Boy", "Love Of My Life", "Don't Stop Me Now", "Killer Queen" and of course the powerful "We Will Rock You".

Waste of money, dvd was fake not real!!! also from a different region could not play on my dvd player!!!
