How the Queen Cleans Everything by Linda Cobb (2002, Hardcover)

Very thorough, lots of clever ideas, simple solutions, things you don't think to do, written with a sense of humor--cleaning can be funny. She gives a daily, weekly, monthly, yearly schedule of tasks, sometimes more than I really want to do, but on paper it doesn't look too hard. She likes a clean house, camp, car, tent, you name it. My biggest complaint about this book is The Queen made me feel guilty about not living up to my mother's and grandmother's standards. ("Clean out the refrigerator monthly?" Does she mean just get rid of dead food or baking soda and water washing, too?) I gave my original copy to my daughter and regretted it right away. This eBay copy was priced well. Buy it, you'll like it!

I was able to review this book at my daughter-in-laws home. I read several tips and ideas that I had never heard before, so decided this would be an asset to my library. I like that she ("the queen") addresses cleaning your home during the different seasons. It's filled with all kinds of everyday items that most people have in their homes that can be mixed to make effective cleaning products that are tough on stains, dirt, grease, etc and are easy on the skin. A very good book to have...

great tips for everything around the house. easy reading for everyone. You can use every day household items to clean all your problems. saves you a lot of money instead of buying exspensive products.
