Quatermass and the Pit (VHS, 1997, Widescreen)

This was a great movie! One useful fact I hope gets indexed for those lost like I was is that this movie went under the name "Five Million Years to Earth" in the US release. I looked for this name and eventually found the film released as "Quartermass and the Pit" and was very happy with the movie as I remembered being scared when I was younger and watching it!

Everyone here at the house enjoyed it and it has a good story and a lot of action. Very well done. If you like Sci-fi you will like this one!

This entry into the science fiction realm is a classic of it's time. Leaving disbelief at the door, you will become engrossed in the plotline and ferret out what the characters come to know. Excellent production, although a bit primitive by today's standards. The acting and direction are right on, without being overdone. Watching this movie, you lose yourself into the story and with it's rather enigmatic ending, you still feel well enterteined. In the end,isn't that what a good movie is supposed to do? A+

It is the movie that I was looking for, but the quality of the film is poor.
The copy that I taped off the television was better quality so I'll keep them both. The seller said that the quality wasn't up to snuff. It is the best SciFi movie to come from England.
