Quantum of Solace (Blu-ray Disc, 2009, Checkpoint; Sensormatic; Widescreen)

Just Like any Ian Fleming Story of International Espionage, 007 fights the powers of evil sometimes alone at times. The opening 30 minutes of Quantum has more action packed in it than last 5 movies put together. Daniel Craig seems to fit the persona of Bond more than any other Bond before.

The editing of this movie was top-notch and the story-line was understandable.

The ending was very tense with the fire and Bond seems to slow down a bit enough not to kill the arch-nemesis and saves the girl.

This is the second installment of the new James Bond movie. This is the first time that a Bond movie has become a direct sequel to the previous movie.

The movie is full of great action! The action is fast and furious as Bond investigates a secret organization around the world. You see Europe, Haiti, South America. It is great fun. :)

Awesome to watch. Grab the popcorn.

Nice movie action loaded .Plot and some of the love seens needs to be improved not in the same style of previuos Bond movies .Quantum of solice seems to be bit too dry in that area.
Pleasue to watch it on new blu ray format ....makes it all the diffrance..

I bought the Quantum of Solace Blu-ray Disc and was immediately impressed with the promptness of delivery. My only complaint is that the DVD jacket didn't contain enough information. Overall, I'd recommend everyone should the DVD in their collection.

I really like how I received this package i two days when the expected date was from the 8th to the 20th. I received it in excellent condition and it looked brand new. I recommend this seller to anyone and I would buy from this seller again if he had something I'm interested in.

This Bond is slight let down from Casino Royale. Casino is perhaps the best Bond made so Quantum of Solace had a lot to live up to. All in all the Blu Ray is great. The picture quality is top notch. The only thing missing is a DTS-HD soundtrack instead of a Dolby one. The sound is still good but nothing comes close to the bass that DTS gives in explosions, etc. I believe this movie is just moving the plot along as it pertains to the "Quantum" group. I think it will be a good bridge from Casino Royale to the future Bonds.

This is the first ever actual sequel in the James Bond series. Previous movies were their own story, this on begins where Casino Royale ended. The action scenes are amazing, probably need to watch them a second or third time to figure it all out. The plot however tends to fizzel out and leave you scratching your head saying, "That's what this is all about?" Also it creates more answers than it answers. Not the best Bond movie but it's entertaining.

VISUAL- The picture is amazing, ofcourse when played on the right TV and Bose system. Even the special effects are great, they dont look fake, and are really clear. For example, when I first got Spiderman 3, and watched it Blu-Ray all the special effects and fight scenes looked horrible, due to Blu-Ray being a HD movie...

Movie it self is awesome, I Love it, and you must watch Casino Royale before Quantum of Solace... I love how were they are going with this James Bond movies and Daniel Craig is one of the top 3 best Bonds.

This is the best way to buy movines.. you don't have to deal with all the extras they throw in the cases and it's cheaper!

This movie is AWFUL! The action scenes are great, but the story and characters and under developed. There is no climax; the whole movie continues without any rising tension or conclusion. The payoff is simply not worth the effort. Definitely below average.

The most difficult problem is that I can,t pay for anything that I purchased, I have been paying with my Am.Express credit Card before and now they ask me to limk all purchases with my bank account and I don,t feel comfortable to do that, I have 3 purchases pening payment and I can not pay by my credit Card, I want you to correct this problem so I can do more purchases. Great 007 movie, enjoyed every minute of it. Very fast paced, perfect for the modern day James Bond.

A slight downgrade from Casino Royale. Doesn't have the same "edge of your seat" anticipation. Although there's lots of action and explosions, but that doesn't always make a good action movie. This movie is worth the watch, maybe even a rewatch, but don't expect Casino Royale.

Visually, this Blu-ray is excellent.

Great movie, great Blu-ray quality. After watching this movie, one realizes why blu-rays exist. You are thrown in to the middle of the action at the beginning and it never lets up. Casino Royale was good, but this one was great.

Not a regular James Bond Movie . Previous one was much better.

James bond in this movie needs some anger management class. He was upset in most of the scene and would kill all his leads. He didn't made any smart move to get the information .

Love this movie, action packed. Over the last couple of movie (with the new James Bond) he's just been much more aggressive, but the car scene and action scenes are awesome.

Filmed very well. Lots of great action with HD detail. Still not much on the acting but that is not why you watch these movies.

I bought this movie, simply since I have all the others... Bought in Blu Ray format.. Daniel Craig I must say does a great job, I was apprehensive at first but as the movie proceeds you see how much he is putting into the character.. Buy it !! Very good opening sequence...

We thoroughly enjoyed this Bond movie. The scenery and the action were fantastic in Blu-Ray. Well worth the money.

There's no need to discuss how crystal clear Blue-ray is, if you don't know that by now, visit a local Best Buy or electronic shop and get a preview. Quantum of Solace is Craig's follow up to Casino Royale. Again, this movie is action packed from the first scene to the last. Blue-ray enhances the experience, just making you glued to your TV screen for the whole 120-minutes, simply staring at the water in the background or the pebbles on the floor. If you have surround sound it makes the experience breathe taking and exciting.

I would say the movie was good, but not great like the first one (Casino Royale). Everyone will have their opinions, but frankly a lot was missing for me to give it a 'great' or rather 'excellent' status. Nonetheless, for me it's still the second best bond in the last several -- more action, less unrealistic gadgets and more real like gadgets, more plot, and more excitement throughout the movie. Not too sure about the Bond girl for this one... Anyway, you may want to shell out the extra money to get it in Blue-ray (provided you have the player & Hi-def TV) because being a Sony Pictures Film, Bond was made for Blu-ray!
