Quantum Leap - The Complete Fourth Season (DVD, 2006)

I adore this series, but Universal has not put the time and money into acquiring the rights to use certain songs in the US DVD release of the show. One of the episodes I was most looking forward to seeing when this season was released was "Temptation Eyes" which features a song by Foreigner, "I Want to Know What Love Is." But they have replaced it with more instrumental music which completely changes the tone, mood, and meaning of the scene. This is especially disappointing if you're familiar with the episode (like most fans and buyers of this DVD set ARE!) and are expecting to hear this great and fitting song. And this is not the first time they have done this.
Completely disappointing. What's wrong with you, Universal?

This is the best sci-fi to come out of the late eighty's early 90's it follows the experiment that sam becket (scott bakula) started in the new mexico desert.
Following a test due to the loss of funding he is transported into time. And has to correct errors in peoples lives and by doing that making the world a little better one small step at a time. This show is great for children it has history, science and adventure. If you never saw it when it was on tv buy season 4. It really is that good and fun

I loved Quantum Leap when it originally aired and couldn't wait to purchase the DVD sets. Season 4 in particular added much more to Sam Beckett's time travel adventures, and even Al go to be the leaper after season 3's thrilling conclusion which saw our heroes switch roles. We finally get to see a little bit of Sam's life in 1999, including the fact he is married, as well as learn more of Project Quantum Leap. But alas, things went back to the way they were as Sam had to go back to save Al. Other highlights for this season included Sam leaping into a rape victim and getting revenge for her, as well as the issue of homosexuality at a military school, and even the funny highlight of Sam leaping into a chimpanzee. It was sort of amusing seeing him locked in a cage and wearing a diaper through most of that episode. I must say Scott Bakula seemed to get along well with his fellow chimps. Among the guest stars seen during this particular season are Eriq LaSalle (ER), T'Keyah Krystal Keema (In Living Color), and Terry Farrell (Star Trek: Deep Space Nine). As with the previous seasons, Quantum Leap was a charming series that explored the qualities of humanity and as usual Scott Bakula and Dean Stockwell worked very well together as a team. I'll certainly be looking forward to getting the DVD set for the final season.

I have been trying to complete this collection for some time. Season 4 was the hardest to get a hold of. This product was easy to find on ebay. The seller listed product at the most reasonable price compared to the other seasons of this show.

I bought season 4 of Quantum Leap to give to my wife for Mother's Day. She was very happy to get them and the DVD set was in new condition. I have nothing but good to say about it.

I have the complete series. The writers use imagination. I am sucked into every episode. I could watch them all at once, but I'm allowing myself one or two per night because I know I'm coming to the end.

Probably one of the best seasons of Quantum Leap. This is a great DVD set for the Quantum Leap fan or someone that is new to the show.

It seems to be in good condition. No jacket for the set, but they are all intack and in great condition. I gave it to my daughter for her birthday and I haven't heard anything negative. She loved them.

Time Travel (of a sort), holograms, and Scott Bakula. What else could you ask for? I loved this series when it came out and love watching the DVDs. Now all I need is season 5 and I'll be all set.

Quantum Leap is one of the few shows in history that the station it was on couldn't ruin. Every time they changed the night it was on or cancelled it, the fans would right in and threaten their lives if they didn't set things right.
Every episode cohesively leads to the next and the team of Sam and Al is just as funny as the first time I saw them. Not to sci-fi, and not too preachy but always with a heart of gold this show time and time again makes me want to watch just one more episode.
Extras a neat but once you see them you won't watch again, you get more insight to the actors that you do the show.
I highly recommend picking this one up and all other seasons.
