Quad Maximus [Edited] by Bass Mekanik (CD, Aug-1994, Pandisc Records)

The Bass Mekanik, a name that is synonimous with SPL bass competition music. This CD is one of the reasons why. The tracks on this CD are designed to make noise, i.e., to push your system to the max, and to create an edge in competition. This cd features techno bass type songs, with a few melodic type bass songs, with a slamming bass line to go with it. There are 16 songs on the cd, and each one is labeled to show the bass peaks or swells on the track. There is also a test track section, which is a collection of test tones, a sine wave sweep, and a pink noise section. To me, this cd is a 5/5, and a must have for any true Basshead.
