Most people these days when they hear "Latin Reggae" think reggaeton - but this new collection from Putumayo is not that. If reggaeton is a Latino version of contemporary Jamaican dancehall, Putumayo's Latin Reggae is more akin to the roots reggae movement of the 1970s. Awesome latin reggae music, cant wait to get the cd

) everyone who knows anything about Robbie, as Marley was know before he became Bob, knows that he was going to start a Latin America tour within weeks of his falling down in Central Park and not getting up again in Miami;
you can almost see his incandescent little-boy smile to know his influence has taken such root there it has born the fruit of this CD Putumayo has collected;
the only flaw i can find with this CD is the works i know they had to edit out that would've easily filled a second CD;
