Putting Food by by Beatrice Vaughan, Janet C. Greene, Ruth Hertzberg (1992, Paperback, Revised)

Looking for one in good condition now that I am retired and doing more gardening. Simply a matter of some current information on putting home grown produce up. this book was in excellant condition, i had one before but sold it.

I do alot of canning for the ministry that i live in and this book was exellent in givig the information that i needed to do it easy and properly.Very easy to read and understand. They explain what to do and why you need to do it with all types of canning and freezing of vegtables, fruits, seafood, meats, and pickling.I have bought it for others interested in learning this process and recomend it for beginers or profesionals.The way things are looking in the economy i recomend everyone to learn how to put food away. You never know when you will need this dying trade.
