Pushing Daisies - The Complete Second Season

Pushing Daisies - Season 2:
What can one say? Having the ability to bring one's childhood sweetheart back from the dead has both it's advantages and disadvantages, knowing that (like real life) there are always the "laws and rules" one must follow to keep situations from getting out of control.
Although Ned "the Pie Maker" uses this gift for profit, in the end it also serves justice and solves the murder mystery (which many times is not murder, but strange coincidences and circumstances often resulting in that person's untimely demise).
I enjoyed the first Season (until it wasn't shown - due to the writer's guild issue) immensely with all of it's colorful use of background, attire, verbiage, and most importantly - it's narration. The documentary-style episodes are just genious and the fact that they re-cap for those that have never watched one episode is a wonderful thing (which helps me watch with friends who haven't seen any or many before).
All-in-all, I do hope that this series continues for many seasons, since it definitely still "lives on" within our home...
