In Pursuit of Honor (DVD, 2001)

I enjoy the story of real men ...some what old school fashion as they say....men.who still hold values as important to them,...the movie shows many scenes where lessons can be learned . especially to young people trying to understand those things important in life.....its a great History lesson...about the brave who serve our country...I would almost have to say its my favorite movie.....Nick

Good family movie. It has a good plot, some language and violence, however overall it is a good family movie. It arrived in as described condition and would recommend seller! +++

Here is what a good movie is made out of. It's honest with our history yet in the end something to be proud of. Shows us the upside of a bad situation and true honor in the face of difficulty. Sacrifice, determination, character, all virtues Hollywood has put on hold in the past few years are present in this fine film.
You don't have to like horses or American history, or the military to really enjoy this film. It's a great story.

This is an excellant movie, especially if you enjoy horses. I have seen it several times, this purchase however was for a christmas present. Receiver was very pleased with it

I bought this on the recommendation of a friend who had liked it. He was right,'cos I also liked it, a lot. We are a horse family, so a movie that so deeply involves horses is a natural, but this one goes beyond most. The plot is quite believable and the acting is very good across the board. The casting was extremely well done, which certainly helps. This isn't a standard Western by any means, although Western lovers will like it, but it has broader appeal. Good clean family movie with an ending that satisfies!

Excellent example of having the character to do the right thing, regardless of the consequences.Could watch it over and over again, indefinitely.

I remember seeing this movie when it was first shown on HBO and I always wanted to see it again. An excellent story line; well acted; and superb photography. Plus I have a soft spot for the background of the story.

This a true story of five calalry men who have taken a risk on saving 400 horses that would otherwise had be slaughtered because the US cavalry no longer had use for them. I would recommend it to any
age group.

Don Johnson and other calvary members find the line between honor and duty. The horses are realistic. The plot keeps moving and the characters are believable. At times it was hard to watch, but it was a good movie with a message.

I first saw this movie on HBO several years ago. At that time I tried to order
it from a seller (?). I enjoyed it and I wanted my father to see it who was very
ill at the time. He grow up on a farm and loved horses. The movie never came and I received an email that said the movie was no longer available.My father's health continued to decline and he didn't live too many more months. That was around ten years ago.

I recently decided to look for this movie again and it was available. I ordered
it and I watched it for the both of us.

based on true events. Horses are a big part of my life, so any movie is interesting. My sister had seen the movie and thought I would enjoy it.

The story was based on a factual event. It seemed to stick to the general historical record of the time. It was a little choppy at the beginning but came together within the first 10 minutes or so. For someone that likes historical fiction, they would probably like this as well.

I actually won this for my friend. She doesn't really know much about computers. She was very glad we won it.

ANY ONE WHO LOVES HORSE'S WILL WANT TO GET THIS MOVIE,THESE MEN WERE VERY HORONAL IN THERE CONVICTIONS THIS ONE MADE TO THE TOP OF MY LISE FOR VIEWING AT ANY TIME OF THE DAY

This is definitely a movie that you will want to have in your movie library. It's historically accurate and tugs at any horse lover's heart. As well as those who are patriotic minded.

I am replacing my favorite VHS tapes with DVD's. The DVD is now in my collection. E-Bay is a fast and economical way to do this.

we have been looking for this movie ever since it came out in 2001 and could never find it in any store. It is a great movie and when we finally received it, it was in perfect condition.

I love this film because it talks about the internal spirit of one man's desire for horses. It's defining in a way because the main character fights the odds, the US Army, and does what he feels is the right thing to do. Excellent movie for all people who love horses.

What a great movie about men of honor. There should be more movies like this instead of the crap Hollywood puts out. We all can learn from this movie.

This movie gives the viewer a look into what the troop see, went thru and put their horses in the same catagory as the officers an inlisted men and how they should be treated as into retirement, they should be treated equally. This movie is in that catagory, the saving of life and retirement with Honor, not driven into a pit and gunned down as though they were nothing and had become useless, they should be Honored the same as the men who fought and went into battle together. Its a touching an a moving story about trust and Honor, the saving of and honoring of a soldier,a horse put into the same catagory as man imself. Good did come out of that Quick Decision.

This morning depicts the throwing away of obsolete animals in the eyes of some of the military people back then. The desire of their handlers to see that they are protected and taken away from sure death at the hands of uncaring people. Excellent movie. Fabulous ending.

The movie was exactly what I wanted and it was new or like new condition. The response and delivery of the item was extremely prompt.
