I absolutely LOVED the book, and was actually sorry for it to end. It was not quite the same as the film, but much better because it went much more in depth into his life, rather than explore only a small piece as the movie did. There were pivotal events that occured that became significant factors in why/how he became successful, things that drove him to be persistant and tremendous odds that he overcame that were explained only in the book. It was written in a very personal way, which made me as the reader feel a certain level of endearment to Chris.
Chris Gardner is a wonderful inspiration, and his story of determination, self-motivation, courage and strength is a true example of what can be accomplished by anyone if they really want better than the situation they were born into. I highly recommend it!
