| Movie Description A hilarious comedy about two men on a search for a missing heiress. One is a hired detective, and the other is an accident waiting to happen. Notes Remake of the 1982 French film, "La Chevre" ("The Goat). Film was written and directed by Francis Veber and starred Pierre Richard, Gerard Depardieu, and Corynne Charbit. Martin Short also starred in the American film "Three Fugitives," which was also executive-produced by Francis Veber and adapted from a French original. Sam Wanamaker replaced Robert Loggia in the part of Highsmith. Filmed in Acapulco and Mexico City, Mexico; Charlotte, Virginia; and Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. Filming began December 17, 1990; completed March 4, 1991. Color by DeLuxe. Titles and Opticals by Pacific Title. Released in USA and Toronto August 9, 1991. Released on video February 13, 1992.
