Album Notes Personnel includes: John Tesh (piano); 4 Him (vocals); Grant Geissman, Ron Komie (acoustic guitar); Dan Higgins (winds); Tim Heintz (piano, keyboards). Producers: Tim Heintz, Ross Pallone, John Tesh. Recorded at Look At The Lights and Fifty-Seven Varieties Studios, Sherman Oaks, California. John Tesh continues his foray into the world of religious music with this set of old favorites that's spiced up with a couple of more recent additions to the religious canon. The simple, pastoral "To Be With You" follows in the best traditions of unadorned tunes that have endured for generations, while "In the Shadow of Your Wings" is a somewhat more sophisticated but no less worthy piece that's a little more contemporary-sounding. Elsewhere, tradition holds sway in the form of "How Great Thou Art," featuring the vocal group 4Him, whose gospel inflections give extra impact to this classic hymn. The "Glory Medley," consisting of "Crown Him With Many Crowns," Christ The Lord Is Risen Today," and "Now Thank We All Our God," could doubtless provide a fitting backdrop to many Christian services.
