Pure Disco by Various Artists (CD, Oct-1996, Polydor USA)

This is a terrific collection of disco music which not only makes me feel like dancing, it makes housework fun! I just crank up the volumn on my boombox, grap the broom and duster and disco through all the dustbunnies! One cannot help but "move" with this CD playing and it brings back memories of when my babies were babies. Now I'll need to buy something polyester on eBay to wear while I'm cleaning house...hehehe.

My CD came within a few days in perfect condition, no complaints at all.
I bought the CD for 1 song "Don't Leave Me This Way" but found many other Disco tunes that bring a smile to my face...I will buy more from this seller.

My kids and I love this CD, we play it when we bake. The kids enjoy YMCA the most, doing the arm movements and dancing around. Good times :) I highly recommend this CD to any Disco lover!

I'm a DJ, so I was glad to find so many good songs on one cd! Well over 80% of the songs are great, and that's a pretty awesome find (for a 21-song cd)!
Together with the cd#2 of this same series, you've got enough disco songs for a whole party :)

In particular, "I Will Survive" (this is the good version, with the dramatic intro!) and the "Grease MegaMix" are worth the price of admission!

I love this CD!! It is great for the road with so many really excellent disco tunes to cruise to. And the very last song is a medley from the Movie Grease. Eventhough I wouldn't really classify that as a disco song it's still lots of fun to listen too!! Donna Sommer's "Hot Stuff" is awesome and K C and the Sunshine Band's "That's the way I like it" brings back lots of memories of cruising around in my first car (a GTO convertible) in a tube top when I was 18, blasting those songs getting all the hot guys attention. AHHH the 70's!!! ;) This is a good party CD-one that you can let play through without ruining the party groove. Party on!!!

I loved the trip down memory lane. My kids loved it also. What a Gem this CD is. I see our family enjoying it for years to come.

Love the CD...where are my roller skates when I need them?? Original artists and full length songs...can't ask for anything better. I bought Pure Disco 2&3 after this purchase. Now, people look at me funny when I am singing at the top of my lungs walking with my dog and i-pod!! Love it!!

This Cd is a delightful return to the age of disco and the songs truely represent the music with some hard to find classics such as Amii Stewards version of the old classic Knock on Wood

THIS CD PURE DISCO I WOULD RECOMMEND TO ANY ONE. HAS FANTASTIC MUSIC, AND MAKES YOU GET UP AND DANCE : ) AND THESE DAYS EVERYONE NEEDS THAT LITTLE PICK ME UP MUSIC.

Too old to dance anymore since the knees are shot. However, I can't explain it but some of the disco stuff really appealed to me, even though my heyday was the late 60's heavy rock. That said there are some real goodies on this disc.

Oldies but goodies, the songs in this CD makes me dance, dance, dance. I love beat, the rythm...everything. One of the hard to get. I was glad when I saw the CD in EBAY.
