'Pumpkinhead' takes a creepy, soul-selling look at revenge. Lance Henriksen does a great job as he usually does. The rest of the cast does an average job but what everyone wants to see is Pumpkinhead. He is one of the best Stan Winston creations ever. It has great atmosphere and is predictable but still a fun ride for any fan of horror or monster movies. 4/5

In the world of hokey horror hits, pumpkinhead stands on his own. Though it seems he can be a bit evasive, that's right... down right difficult to find! Do not let this dissuade you...persist in your search, give more, give eveything, give blood! Pumpkinhead - This is a good one to watch on Halloween if your looking for something new. I would hit your classics first but if your still in the mood to see a horror movie, you might give this one a try. I've seen worse.

When i first watched this movie, i was pretty much scared of going to bed. Even sleeping was hard but the most was having the nightmares of watching the movie. This is the first series of Pumpkinhead and it was just totally amazing. Now watching it over and over, i have overcomed my fears. I can tell you what to avoid watching and that is the wicked nasty killer machine Pumpkinhead. Don't watch this film if your not ready for it because you will get nightmares. Remember watch at your risk because Pumpkinhead is real ugly!

i love the old horror movies and for being old it has a great monster and a great plot if you like the old horror movies that arent cheesie this is the one for you

this movie is fantastic ! with the first attempt at directing going to stan winston ,yes the same stan winston whos been giving us the best cinematic special efx for over a decade ,from the predator to aliens to harry and the hendersons .
the only disappointing aspect of the movie is that it was released in a cheap straight forward format ,no letterboxed edition no special features no nothing .
wich to people like me(who actually enjoyed the movie)really sucks beacuse this is one of the last great movies to come from that era and sadly enough is overlooked .
mgm should get off thier butt and re-release this movie in a widescreen format .
i bet if it had ben afflak in it they would have spared no production expence in the release of this dvd .
but in the mean time do your self a favor and watch this movie in its pan and scan format.
its a wonderfull tale of a fathers love and how we can be blined by emotions and retribution ,so much so that when a loved one is killed youll spare no expence in revenge , so much so, that youll give up your own soul to do what you feel is right ,even if its not .
its really a good movie .

Very scary movie about a man who conjures up a demon with the help of a old local to avenge his sons death and then as a change of heart. Excellent special effects and very violent. Not for the faint of heart. Good addition to any horror collection.

This is a classic DVD that I have been looking for. I simply bought this in order to scare the heck out of my kids.....just kidding, I will enjoy this and especially at such a good price. Thank you!

This movie is really scary, the first time I ever saw pumpkinhead, I about freaked out! It's a very dark and not-so-gruesome movie. Puts you on the edge-of-your-seat! Pumpkinhead is the 90's version of Freddy Krugger! Talk about slice&dice!!! Check this one out!

I am sure this is becoming a real cult classic in the genre of movies like Phantasm and Friday the 13th. This movie proves even a low budget production if done right will give you the chills.

Extremely fast in locating and receiving product. The shipping is rather expensive, however, the product made up for the difference in shipping. In other words, the product was more cost effective to go online rather than to drive around looking for it in stores.

This was a movie I had seen a long time ago and my husband wanted it for a while.It's good as far a horror movies go. It's the traditional country folk that are hurt by rich city kids and they get revenge! It's kind of a tradition to watch it and chant pumpkinhead to scare the kids when Halloween comes around. It was neat to finally find the movie on dvd and it is great quality. I couldn't have asked for a better price either!

Awesome Special effects by the great Stan Winston, cool story line. And an legendary actor Lance Henrickson (don't know if spelled right) make this a must have for any one who loves scifi, horror, tragedy, or purty much any kinda of film. If you don't get this movie Pumkinhead shall come for you....just kidding.....maybe

We love the movie Pumpkinhead. It's a classic. I bought it for my husband. He loves this movie. We watched it when we were kids. I'm glad we found it on Ebay. I had a hard time finding it at local stores.

The set up was great. The plot and setting is perfect. Lance's acting is great, but the other teenage actors needed some work in spots. The old witch and the monster is what makes this movie memorable. If your in the mood for a horror flick then watch this one.
