I RECENTLY RECEIVED A NEW INSULIN PUMP AND WAS TOLD THAT THIS AUTHOR HAS THE ABILITY TO HELP A PUMP USER ADJUST THE PUMP CAPIBILITY TO FIT PERSONAL NEEDS.THE BOOK IS WRITTEN IN SUCH A WAY THAT THE READER CAN APPLY THE INFO IN HIS/HER OWN CIRCUMSTANCES.THE PERSON WHO RAVED ABOUT THE BOOK IS A PUMP TRAINER WHOSE EXPERIENCE IN TEACHING WAS MADE EASIER BY THE INSIGHTS WHICH ARE MADE KNOWN TO THE PUMP USER.

Incredibly simple book to follow. I feel like we are so much more prepared than most new pumpers and really feel that this book helped our knowledge grow regarding all different aspects of diabetes. It was WELL WORTH the money. I keep rereading different sections already.

) A very well written informative guide for anyone using or considering using an insulin pump. Covers all the basics. A great reference and handy emergency guide for emergency situations.
Chapters are well organized and language is not complicated. I do use the pump and feel this book is a very important addition to helping me manage the diabetes I suffer from.
