Hmmm... not bad.

Pulse was a pretty good horror flick. There are numerous holes in the plot so don't try to figure too much out on your own. After realizing what is happening, the intrique captures you, but the ending (like most horror movies) leaves you puzzled as to why? Again, it's not a bad movie, but there are more questions than answers, and you're left wondering why. I'm not leaving the "average" rating for that alone (again, like most horror movies you're asking why?) but for the numurous plot holes and dry, distant acting. It definitely leaves you looking for another movie to make sense of it. Overall, the plot is interesting. Similar to Stephen King's novel "Cell", some over-anxious teens stumble upon a mysterious pulse in the radio wave spectrum which tries to re-enter their computer signal. It does, and then proceeds to take over the world by consuming the life out of everyone it comes in contact with -which is every living thing within a radio wave. Those that are outside of any signal are immune to them. Hence goes the movie. The movies use of "red tape" is cool because we know that the color red is a part of the light frequency, and I guess, in this case, that has something to do with blocking the afterlife from sucking the life out of living humans. Thats about it. Enjoy!
