It is only a wonder why AFI didnt put this higher than 95 on the all time greatest movies list. Travolta and Jackson are incredible in this movie, and Uma Thurman and Bruce Willis just give it that little extra something. Makes me want to eat a "Royale with cheese".

Pulp Fiction

An instant classic, I can watch this movie over and over and never get tired of it.

Pulp Fiction is one of Tarantinos best films, the cast is superb, the plot is incredible, and the production is second to none.

I actually just watched this movie for the first time start to finish over the holidays and I now know why everybody is always talking about it as being a classic.

Travolta and Jackson are superb, and the rest of the cast is absolutely killer.

Final Verdict:

5/5

Rent or Buy?: You can't go wrong purchasing this movie, it's that good.

IF YOU FIND THIS REVIEW HELPFUL PLEASE REMEMBER TO VOTE. Thank you.

When I saw this movie the first time, I could not believe what was unfolding on the big screen. Quentin created a classic movie in an exciting fashion that was brand new to me...

The stable of actors was unequaled and unexpected. The whole movie was a giant surprise and judging from the initial reaction to it, I was not alone in my reaction.

I only own about 5 movies, and this is one of them. I don't know how many times I have watched it, but I still haven't gotten tired of it.

Pulp Fiction may be the single best film ever made, and quite appropriately it is by one of the most creative directors of all time, Quentin Tarantino. This movie is amazing from the beginning definition of pulp to the end credits and boasts one of the best casts ever assembled with the likes of Bruce Willis, Samuel L. Jackson, John Travolta, Uma Thurman, Harvey Keitel, Tim Roth and Christopher Walken.
Pulp Fiction is a truly outstanding movie, it is a must-see for anyone who considers themself a film buff.
Academy Award® Winner (1994)
Screenplay Written Directly For The Screen, Quentin Tarantino

Academy Award Nominee (1994)
John Travolta, Best Actor
Samuel L. Jackson, Best Supporting Actor
Uma Thurman, Best Supporting Actress
Best Picture
Best Director
This movie is a must for any and all fans of Samuel L. Jackson, John Travolta, and to say the least for Quentin Tarantino
I can watch this movie over and over and enjoy it everytime

My wife asked me what I wanted for my birthday, I answered, a Pulp Fiction dvd. She siad I'm not buying you that. I went to ebay and typed in Pulp Fiction dvd and 4 movies cames up. One was ending in 26 minutes, I placed a bid. The next day I checked to see if I won and I did. I received my collectors edition 9 days later for 80 cents with 4 bucks for shipping. It was expertly packed and was in pristine condition and I thoroughly enjoy my purchase. And I love telling the story. Duff Thury

One of the best movies of all time!

One of my favorite movies of all time. Here are my favorite movies... if you like the others but haven't seen this one.... drop what you are doing and get it NOW!

1. The Evil Dead 2. My all-time favorite movie. I've seen this movie about 20 times, in fact my family usually watches it every Halloween. It's a classic, what can I say? It's funny and scary, and Bruce Campbell is astounding. Army of Darkness is the sequel, and it's almost as good. Dead by Dawn, Dead by Dawn!

2. Monty Python and the Holy Grail. This is a tough list, since I'm mixing genres. But, I don't have any doubt that this is hands-down the funniest movie ever made. Every time I watch this I'm rolling on the floor. If you don't think this movie is funny, you should exit this site now!

3. Natural Born Killers. Well, I can say without a doubt, that Quentin Tarentino is my favorite writer/director. But, it was still a brainstorm to let Oliver Stone direct this one. And the casting... who would have seen Woody Harrelson from Cheers as the perfect psychopathic killer? This version on DVD, in particular, is awesome for the extra footage. Entire characters, including Ashley Judd and Dennis Leary were cut out - the extra scenes add a whole extra hour to the movie! Sick movie, but I never get tired of it.

4. Pulp Fiction. Quentin Tarentino will have the most movies in my top 100 as writer and director, and many will say that this is his best movie (although I personally like NBK better). Every actor he casts in a movie is catapulted to fame, and/or their careers are revived. After seeing this movie, it's no wonder that John Travolta, Samuel L. Jackson and Uma Thurman are "A"-list. Then you add in Bruce Willis, Ving Rhames, Christopher Walken.... sheesh, how could this not be in my top 5?

5. Total Recall. Arnold Schwarzenegger is not the greatest actor, but he did an incredible job picking movies. He has a lot of great movies; you are going to see a few more in my top 100. But there is no doubt in my mind that this is, and will remain, his best movie. The collectors edition is really nice, in a tin can that looks like Mars!

6. The Usual Suspects. This movie is amazing, the first time I saw it... right when it ended I watched it again. It was just as good the second time. Kevin Spacey and Gabriel Byrne are two of my favorite actors, but actually this entire cast is fantastic. I guess this would be considered a crime movie, and yes - I liked it better than Goodfellas, Scarface and The Godfather!

7. Army of Darkness. The second movie from Bruce Campbell in my top 10, an amazing follow-up to Evil Dead II.

8. True Romance. The third movie by Quentin Tarentino in my top 10, and it's a solid entry. Not his most well known movie, but an all time classic in my book. With stars like Christian Slater, Patricia Arquette, Dennis Hopper and Brad Pitt I guess I should have expected as much.

9. The Terminator. I think a lot of people's favorite movies are influenced by how their life was going when they first saw the movie that they are reviewing. As I mentioned above, I don't count Arnold S. as one of the finest actors of all time, but this is his second movie in my top 10. I was at a good place in my life when this came out, and it blew me away. I'm sure glad my name isn't Sarah Connor.

10. Star Wars Trilogy. Most of my friends think this is my favorite movie of all time, and it's #10!

  A truly Great film !
Review created: 04/17/06
3 of 4 people found this review helpful.

Pulp Fiction stood the world of film-making on its head when it was released, and continues to be the standard for comparison for new films in the crime/drama genre.
Combining a killer ensemble cast with fantastic dialog and pinpoint direction, oh, and an entertaining meld of storylines, Pulp Fiction is truly one of the very best films ever made. This is not to say THE greatest, but definitely well high up on the list !!!!

Not for everybody, with almost non-stop violence, sexual references, foul language, drug use and abuse, and plenty of blood, the film yet manages to retain a great level of humor to temper the sometimes harsh imagery and words that are on the screen.

Thoroughly enjoyable (if you have a brain and a pulse!) and a film that can be watched over and over and over and over.....!!!!

This film kicks you in the teeth, then picks you up just to do it all over again, + Tarintino mixes the film up so you never know if your coming or going and he keps you guessing " does this sciene come before or after Ving Reims gets sautimized by the Gimp".

The whole idea that three intersecting Arcs of story line, surrounded by many other colorful characters and their path in this movie were groundbreaking in 1994, when Quentin Tarantino wrote this Masterpiece.it delivers a great and unforgettable cast, including a pair of low rent hit men (John Travolta and Samuel L Jackson) their boss's beautiful wife (Uma Thurman)and Prizefighter(Bruce Willis)bringing an original fast moving, and exhilarating motion picture adventure that both thrill and tantalize.

  Pulp Fiction Me!
Review created: 08/05/07
2 of 2 people found this review helpful.

Pulp Fiction reads like a book on the big screen. When I first saw the film, I was in a small smoke filled theater somewhere in Paris, France. The crowd was ecstatic as the characters entertained us on the big screen. Quentin Tarantino directed this piece of art with timeless precision as the viewer becomes part of the twisted never ending story.

This is a must have DVD, and no question one of the best top 100 Holywood films ever made.

Enjoy the adventure over and over. I have and will continue to do so.

  A great classic weird film

Quentin Tarantino has made great movies, always with a "Tarantino" touch full of weird characters in every movie and this one is one of the best ones, from John Travolta to Uma Thurman to Bruce Willis, they show in the movie representing people we can hardly find in real life, only in the mind of this great director / producer and (ok) actor.

4 Years Old Movie But A Never Aging Treat For The Mind
Review created: 08/30/06

2 of 3 people found this review helpful.

What can I say but another Quentin Tarantino classic. This movie has it all, the cast, the story and the quotes that can be hear around the world. With what seems like a mess of multiple plots full of chaos, the ending comes together like a good Thanksgiving dinner. The story does not have a dull moment in it and will keep you urging for more with each passing second. Please keep in mind this is full of mature humour and the dialogue to match. This will be an addition to your collection that you will watch over and over again. I have seen this movie more than a dozen times and each new time that I have the pleasure of consuming it again, I get something new out of it.

The only thing that I can complain about is that there was never a sequel, we can only hope Mr. Tarantino, we can only hope!

One to get now!
