This is by far one of the best and most handy books I've evere had. The book has up-to-date information about the birds of Puerto Rico. Full color pictures of different individual birds give the reader a complete idea of color and plumage variations when looking for these species in Puerto Rican forests. The CD-ROM included with this book is also very useful. A lot of additional information as well as many internet links to other sources of information like ornithological societies, local government agencies, and much more. The text and images captions are available in both English and Spanish.
The most important resource of this CD-ROM are the over 1,200 additional full color images for all the species and the sound clips for most of them. The CD-ROM would work in both PC and Mac computers.
