I haven't used this textbook yet, but I received it very quickly and it was brand new just like the seller description promised.

I have used once. I do like this edition better than 5th(?). This edition just seems to be more organized and makes more sense to me than the last edition. I am working on my Bachelor/Master's and needed this per my professor. I am giving this book a good rating BUT perhaps book is excellent.

Please ask which printing of the 6th edition APA Manual you are being offered- the first printing had 80 pages of corrections in a 272 page book, and aparently APA sent out correction notices - but who wants to look through correction sheets AND a book for referencing your work? When you are writing a scholarly paper, you don't want to make an incorrect citation or reference that will cost you points on your grade! ASK first before buying! First printing was released in June or July 2009, Second printing was released in October or November 2009.

I recently ordered two of the above books. I got one of them very fast, but the second one I am yet to receive. I am confused. My credit card was charged for both of them,so what kind of rating do I give? How do I get the other book? I need the other book as a Christmas gift. Please help. Thank you.

Within 24 hours after I purchased the book, I found out it would no longer be necessary (for my class). I immediately asked if we could stop the order. They responded with a "really sorry, already sent". This must have been true, because I got it right away and it was in good condition. I asked two more times about return policies (including me paying for return shipping) and heard absolutely nothing. It felt like they got their $ and it was tumbleweeds for me. Not cool.

1st printing of APA 6th ed has a lot of errors. if you bought the 1st printing, you can have it replaced w/ 2nd printing for free.. call APA at 1-800-374-2721

I needed it for school..but later found out there are corrections the company must make...I thought the book is in great shape and the seller did a good job getting it to me.

The APA style mannual was necessary for a graduate school course. Frankly unless you have assignments that come directly from it I would use the free info you can get on the web. It is designed for researchers not students. Get an older copy and look for up dates on the APA site and changes on the website. Also, the APA came out and said there were misprints in it.

Also, I had a weird experience with the seller. The listing was taken down. I still received the book and it was brand new. They sent it like I had ordered a gift from Walmart. Very strange.

Like- This book has the new information I need to know for class
Dislike- they changed the formatting

I'm a communication instructor for a mid-sized college and learning APA style is a requirement for my students. The reason I did not give this book an Excellent rating is because the new edition layout is entirely different than the 5th Edition or subsequent editions, which is a challenge. However, as an instructor, staying abreast of the changes in APA is necessary. So, I guess I'll have to learn right along with my students.

The seller is a thief!!! HE/She took my money and never shipped the book out. I was going to use this book for my psychological research class but because of the horrible horrible seller I am now a week behind class. Never again will I buy from a new seller.

This is a required text for school to write my papers in APA format. The book has all the guidelines needed for this information.

Up front pricing. A good deal and fast shipping. This is what ebay should be about. I recieved the book in less than 3 days from when I ordered it which was great because I needed it for a class. The best part was they don't hide a bunch of profit in the shipping and handling charges like many ebay sellers do today. It is nice to see the price I paid for shipping on the shipping label when it arrives.

What can I say? It's the 6th edition. There are some changes, particularly with citing online resources.

It was good I used for my class. the waiting time for the book was reasonable,and the seller offer me the tools for buying it because at the first time I didn't notice that I was unable to recieve the Manual without paying extra for the shipping; but the seller contact me and help make my payment easier and give the opportunity to have the book.

I needed this book for a research methods class, and I've found it quite helpful for formatting my documents in APA style. The book arrived in mint condition and on time. I would definitely buy from this seller again.
