I like how the show is fairly clean when it comes to language and adult discussions. Sometimes you can watch a show where they put really inappropriate things in the dialogue. You don't find that very often in this show. Its funny, quirky, and has some suspense. I love this show!

I love Psych as it is so funny. This season introduced more of the extended family and friends, so more complex and interesting. It is really funny. This season also involved more languages and odd situations. This season was lots of fun. I can't wait for the third season to see his mum, I hope. It is great for sceptics to have a laugh.

This is a great show (even for teenagers) and doesn't fall into boring repetition of themes or dead-end plotlines. Very entertaining.

The second season of Psych does not disappoint. The episodes are witty and original with the character's shining at every moment.

The season itself is not as good as the first one but still very solid. Packaged in an attractive case and loaded with features including hilarious commentary from the cast and crew.

I've been watching Psych since it came out and I remember going crazy with anticipation when I first saw a preview. Watching special features (even the "Psych-outs" during the credits) show why this show works so well; The cast has great chemistry. Everyone seems to be having fun and James Roday, Dule Hill et al. ad-lib just as much as they read off the script. Pretty much a great show that can balance gut-busting hilarity with sincere heartfelt drama and everything in between. If you enjoy good, (mostly) non-continuity television, watch this show. The new season started recently, it's on Friday nights at 10 on USA.

This 4 DVD set is a perfect continuation of my First Complete Season of Psych DVD set. The acting is superb, and the humor is even better. If I'm feeling down, all I need to do is stick in one of these DVDs and I feel instantly better. The deleted scenes, commentaries, and podcasts, as well as other featurettes like Psychouts and Adventures of Little Shawn and Gus are fantastic special features that any Psych fan will enjoy.

This is a fun, light and somewhat funny series. Can be serious at times but for the most part it is just a light-hearted semi-mystery TV show. My girls love to watch and it makes a great gift.

Characters in this series are dead on perfect. Stories aren't stale like some series get after a while. Iteresting twists and character interactions are really in place.

This is a great show that airs in the States on the USA network. Its an hour long comedy that follows a fake psychic as he solves crimes with his best friend. Stars James Roday, Dule Hill, Tim Omundson, Corbin Bernsen, and Maggie Lawson. This season has many guest stars and this DVD package is packed full of tons of extras. Be sure to watch the audio commentaries for fun behind the scenes information. The packaging is also unique. It opens like a book and the outer shell is harder than the cardboard of most DVD tv box sets.

I love season one of Psych and was so looking forward to season 2. While season 2 is good, it is not quite as good as season 1. If you love Shawn and Gus in season 1 you will definitely enjoy season 2, but just have a heads up that as a whole season 1 is better.

The follow up of Season 1 is better in some respects than Season 1. I reccommend you watch both seasons in a row, all 31. It continues the story of Shawn and his crazy fake psychic adventures. The reason why this season is really good is because the Chief - Chief Vick played by Kirsten Nelson and Shawn's dad Henry Spencer played by Corbin Bernsen gets more air time. They provide an additional dynamic in terms of range of charater interaction and a different take on the situations that the characters fall upon. This is seriously the AWESOMEest Tv Series I have watched. BUY IT!

I see there are poor and below average reviews of this set, and I can't understand why. Yes there are some episodes that were mildly disappointing, but for the most part these shows are hilarious. The dialog is snappy, the acting can be campy, but the interplay of the main characters, Shawn and Gus are what makes the show what it is. The interspersed, quick, and often so off-beat 80's references (both verbal and visual)make this series a treasure...and honestly, seeing how they fit the pineapple reference in every week makes me want to watch, as do seeing what silliness Shawn and Gus can get themselves into and out of each week. All the supporting characters have their moments of fun during the "seriousness" as well.

This isn't Shakespeare, folks, and isn't meant to be. It is entertainment. When I watch Psych, I am hoping to have some moments of true laughter, which I do in many ways. Considering what else is out there to watch, I think this is worth an hour to have a little fun for a change.

This show is funny with a great cast. Along with the MONK series, Psych acts as the "tag-team" comedy/mystery partner for the aforementioned series.

The set-up for the show is that Shawn Spencer -played by James Roday- (son of a hard-nosed, policeman father) has developed very good observational habits. These observational habits have allowed him to solve many crimes by simply seeing the news report and interviews on TV. Burton Guster or known on the show as "Gus" -played by Dule Hill- (Shawn's friend since childhood) is the straight-man and carries the traditional information and knowledge that Shawn lacks. The interaction between Shawn and Gus provides the main source of laughs, as they deal with the situations that they are confronted with each episode.

Shawn's father -Henry Spencer- is played by Corbin Bernsen. He nails the part of the straight-arrow, super-intense, former-cop father. The local police that are forced to work along-side Shawn and Gus are Carlton Lassiter and Juliet O'Hara -played by Timothy Omundson and Maggie Lawson respectively. Lassiter -generally speaking- hates that Shawn and Gus are allowed to work with the police department. Juliet is easy on the eyes and you don't need Shawn's observational skills to see that he has more than a casual interest in her. Karen Vick -played by Kirsten Nelson- is the police chief in charge of assigning cases to our detective duo.

My personal favorites -during the second season- are "Sixty Five Million Years Off" and "Shawn (and Gus) Of The Dead."

Buy this DVD package, you will laugh-out-loud during every episode. We have already gotten several of our friends hooked on the show.
