I have loved Pink Floyd since they started in the 60's, but I had gotten away from them until recently. NOW I really appreciate Roger Water's song writing. He puts such feeling into his lyrics and in this CD, he even includes a section where he is reading Winnie the Pooh to his children - Harry and India. Most of his music has a concept behind it. This was him dreaming as he lies in bed with his wife. Some parts are fun and others are very scary. When he performed the music on stage, it was more like a play than a rock concert. I wish I could have seen it! Take the time to listen to the music and make your own judgment. I think you will like it.

Uncensored for your enjoyment...

Yay, the uncensored cover. Unfortunately, I have the blacked out version but this one looks better in my reviews page. The songs here remind me very much of The Wall and while most of my friends are fans of Roger's other solo albums more than this I tend to lean toward this as my favorite. Great concept and lyrics. Roger is a genus. 5 Stars.
