The Prophecy (DVD, 1999)

This DVD is one of my all time favorites. I love Christopher Walkins, and he is GREAT in this movie. This movie is about good and bad angels fighting here on earth to get heaven back to the way it was before humans were created. I think that it puts an interesting twist on angels and how they may feel about us. One of the great things about this movie is that there has never been a movie like it or one that has come close to the same kind of story. It's a different kind of tell, and will make you think a little bit.

1) i dont dislike it. I loved this movie evr since it came out.

This is a collection of The Prophecy and The Prophecy II and III. I loved all of these movies and was not able to find them anywhere. To be able to buy all three was fantastic. They combine to tell the story of a second war in heaven being waged by those both on the side of humanity (Eric Stoltz in the Prophecy) and against us (Christopher Walken as Gabriel). I reccommend this to any Walken fan or for those who like stories about angels.

This is one of my all time favorite movies. I've watched it oodles of times and always get something new out of it. When I saw it on ebay on DVD I knew it was for me. Wonderful sale and excellent response time. Thanks!

This entire series was phenomenal. Edge of the sit from the beginning. Been looking for these forever. Glad to see them in a box set.

I've seen the first movie and something i have wanted to add to my collection and can't wait to see volumes 2 and 3. Movies brand new and sealed in the containers.

It gives a new and thoughtful slant on the good vs evil battle. I liked the back story to the angels and their feelings on the creation of man. Great characters, story line, and acting. I liked the fallibility of the angels.

I first saw this movie in the theaters and I knew it would be considered a cult classic after my first viewing. I have rented this movie about 5-6 times a year but as the years go by it was not always easy to find so I finally broke down and bought all three. I think my favorite part is watching Viggo playing the angel Lucifer or Christopher Walken playing the angel Gabriel. They did such a wonderful job bringing these characters alive.
Prophecy I recieves 5/5 stars. Prophecy II recieves 4/5 stars. Prophecy III recieves 4/5 stars. All in all, Christopher Walken makes this movie series with his stellar performance. Great flick, glad I own all three.

Walken fans this is a gem of a movie. If you get this movie you will receive a truelly well made movie with some very interesting twists and turns. Christoher walken makes the movie supporting cast is great also many faces you will recognize. Walken turns this movie creepy comedic at times worth a watch

I would classify this as an Action-Drama-Horror, in that order. An intelligent, well scripted trilogy, See all 3 chapters. Someone tried to tag on 2 more movies but I would rate them as garbage. See, Prophecy, Prophecy II, and Prophecy III. ... ;<}

OK. It's not the greatest movie ever made. But if you are a fan of Christopher Walken this is a DVD that you MUST own!

Christopher Walken is the ultimate bad angel as Gabriel in this movie...and the two movies that followed- I bought all three together.
It is the story of the war in heaven between the angels that have remained faithful to God and those who became jealous of the human race and turned against Him.
The acting is superb and so are the special effects.
I give it the highest rating of three thumbs up!

Great story line, excellent action and nice ending that will leave you wanting to watch part two. Christopher Walken is riveting and there is a nice cameo of Lucifer, is guess who? See if you can guess who he is? It was beofre he made it big in Lord of The Rings series.

This is an excellant film that I'm glad went on to a triology. Christopher Walken is superb as the angel Gabriel, very cool.

This film may make you believe in angels if you don't all ready. Some scenes will make you laugh at the comedic twist on death is portrayed.

Good popcorn movie!

The movie set was great. i have looked for a full set of these on DVD and was pleasantly surprised to find it. All were sealed and none had any flaws on them .Shipping was overly slow tho, thats the only thing that could of been better on this buy. Also time allowed to view and return was too short. i had to view all of them in a day and half time. Overall i would buy off this seller again.

I am sorry it has been more than two month and I still have not got this purchase. The seller claims it was sent via DHL International but failed to provide a tracking number so that I can pursue the matter.
