This book was recomended to me by a friend who has read other books by this auther. I will not be seeking out another, book that is, I may keep the friend. While I found it entertaining, I regretfully found it a bit too "A-Teamish". We have a cast of, rich guy martial arts master/James Bond knock off, Ex basketball star/hollywood agent private eye, and the brutal ladies of wrestling turned nothing else to do but help boss fight crime in costumes. We have a story that could be compelling, but turns out cheep. I was ok with all the fantastic means with which our hero is able to get out of each mess. With the help his, always shows up in the nick of time, side kick "rich guy" they are able to shoot to kill without question. Most was hard to swallow, but it was the ending that was too "made for tv". Delivered in a, Murder She Wrote fashion, we are lead through the events leading up to the abduction. Of course as in any good tv show, our hero, the crime fighting, ex ball player, who keeps his superhero identity undercover by working as a hollywood agent, is able to get to the truth while the Keystone Cop-like police force, fumbles the ball. I actully got mad at the end of this book. It could have been really good had the auther not gone for cheese over substance.
