Synopsis Sports agent Myron Bolitar returns after a six-year hiatus to star in his eighth thriller.. Myron hears his girlfriend's teenage daughter, Erin, and her friend, Aimee, talking about getting in a car with a drunken driver; hoping to avoid a tragedy, he tells them that he'll pick them up wherever, whenever they call him--and he won't tell their parents. But his generosity goes terribly wrong when he does pick up Aimee in the wee hours and drops her off at a strange house; she fails to come home, and the police and some other nasty customers implicate him in her disappearance.
