Prom Night (DVD, 2008)

i luv this movie and i saw it in theaters and thought immediately tht i would have 2 buy it i c tht there r more guys tht dont like it than girls and i think tht is simply cuz it is not a trashy movie its a good movie theres not nudity, always cussin, beer, drugs, or everybody smokin which is how horror and all other movies have become 2day and i cant stand tht but this movie isnt anything like those so i am extremely proud of the ppl who put this movie 2gether cuz they didnt fall into the style hollywood movies r now It was jus a good movie idk wht else 2 tell u but i went and watched it w/my family and best friend and all of us luved it then i bought it and watched it w/my other best friend lol and she loved it. it did make make jump throughout at the theater and my best friend and the ppl infront of me screamed several times at he the screen lol and wen i watched it at home my best friend was jumpin and doin lil squeals it was awesome luved it! o yeah my friend had a dream tht night after the movie and she said all she could c was the killers eyes and she was scared 2 death lol but yeah i suggest ppl c it

I always like it when a film starts you out, thinking what is happening is live, however, it turns out that the actor is having a nightmare or had a nightmare and was just telling the story to her therapist.

Brittany Snow plays the young girl that lost her family to an estranged teacher that had an obsession with her 2-3 years before and killed her entire family. Now that she is about to graduate and is attending her prom formal at a local ritzy motel, she has put out of her mind, all the terrible times that befell her years ago. Little does she know the guy has escaped from prison and is out to get back up with her regardless of how many he kills that are standing in his way.

This could be a good movie to watch with you boyfriend or girlfriend late at night in the dark. Just make sure you lock the doors before you get too scared.

I'll give this a 3/5 for pure entertainment even though you've probably seen other films like this before and perhaps have even seen the 30 year old version with Jamie Lee Curtis.

I wasn`t to impressed with the movie! I think it could of had more of a story into it.. My opinion, Its a movie more for teenage girls that enjoy the scarey stuff!!

I did not like this film. It was a very big disappointment after seeing the original nearly three decades ago.

the old lady loved it, but me it was alright and kinda corn-ballist,look like it was a low budget film, but the price i got it at i guess i can't complain,good chick flick and not a man movie, it got to me quick and fast though , thanks

Ok I'll admit it I only bought this movie b/c I'm a big Kelly Blatz fan but I really enjoyed the movie. It had a good story and in my personal opinion better than the original. It was pretty bland for a horror movie though but suspenseful. It had a brillant cast too! I love it.

The young actress Brittany Snow even known from the Movie John Tucker must die(Comedy) is a excellent choice as leading role she plays her fear so real.

Even without a lot of blood a real great awesome Scary/Suspense movie!

Great story line and its scary like the classic horror films and not just total slasher. I would recomend this movie to anyone.

Brittany Snow plays a great victim in this high school based thriller. Everyone's dream night, Prom, has a twist and suspense that will leave you terrified.

very good movie and has alot of action and there is nothing not to like about this movie.i have rented this movie at least 7 times in the past 6 months.

Excellent movie. Great actors. I enjoyed every minute of it even though I was scared out of my socks half the time. But that's why I bought it.

This movie isn't all that scary. It keeps you entertained and doesn't get boring. The acting is good. worth a watch.

This "remake" is not worth it on DVD. Not worth it on VHS. Not worth it on HD-DVD. And certainly not worth it on Blu-Ray.

It's a terrible remake that isn't scary, chilling, it's more comedic than anything.

Could've been good. But sucks.
