Prom Night (DVD, 2008)

Please do not waste your money and buy this horrible movie. There are better B movies out there to spend you money on. I'm guessing they spent less on this movie than they did for The Blair Witch Project.

I don't think that they should have made this movie. It is not really good and nothing like the original.

I always like it when a film starts you out, thinking what is happening is live, however, it turns out that the actor is having a nightmare or had a nightmare and was just telling the story to her therapist.

Brittany Snow plays the young girl that lost her family to an estranged teacher that had an obsession with her 2-3 years before and killed her entire family. Now that she is about to graduate and is attending her prom formal at a local ritzy motel, she has put out of her mind, all the terrible times that befell her years ago. Little does she know the guy has escaped from prison and is out to get back up with her regardless of how many he kills that are standing in his way.

This could be a good movie to watch with you boyfriend or girlfriend late at night in the dark. Just make sure you lock the doors before you get too scared.

I'll give this a 3/5 for pure entertainment even though you've probably seen other films like this before and perhaps have even seen the 30 year old version with Jamie Lee Curtis.

I love horror movies grew up on them and it takes alot for me to love a horror movie...this one has me hooked...better then the original..first of all the lead actress is alot better looking then Jamie Lee Curtis..oh wait this isn't a remake of the original "Prom Night"..hello!! in the first "Prom Night" the murders were revenge for the accidental death of a student..in this film the murders was sparked by the unrequited love for a student by a Teacher..he goes mad kills her Family..is imprisoned for 3 years then escapes and finds the girl on her prom night..filled with suspense, as well as romance and just a touch of who's that in the corner..I give this film 5 out of 5 bars, but please judge this movie by it's own merits not the merits of the first "Prom Night" movie!

Not a very good movie. It's okay to watch once, then trash it. It was a HUGE let down. It did not live up to the previews we all saw before coming to theaters. I LOVE scary flicks and this was scaryily bad!

This "remake" is not worth it on DVD. Not worth it on VHS. Not worth it on HD-DVD. And certainly not worth it on Blu-Ray.

It's a terrible remake that isn't scary, chilling, it's more comedic than anything.

Could've been good. But sucks.

It was a great movie, unfortunately I got scammed by the seller and the product was only viewable in subtitles.

movie is excellent qualit. it was quick shipment to me and the commuication with the seler was good. the movie is so scary! which i love i saw it in theaters and just had to have it, great deal as well. i highly recommend both this movie (watch with someone) and also this seller/ebay.

This movie would have been a prime example of why I should have cut more classes in high school. It used to be that young girls would get a crush on the cute male teacher, but not the other way around! That's just creepy and wrong...on SO many levels! This teacher didn't just get a crush, he went full on psychotic obsession with a whole lot of killing in between! Had this movie been out when I was still in high school I would have been scared of my teachers not just creeped out by them!
