Wonderful Book...Lighthearted...Good Memories

I LOVE this book!! I read the book in 2001 when it first was published. I got it from the library at that time. I saw this again and decided I would like to own it myself since I buzzed thru it the first time and it brought back so many happy memories. I was born in 1949 and remember all these products. I also live in Ohio and felt a kinship with the family. I bought this in the hardcover and will re-read it again and then give to my mother and father-in-law to read knowing that they will really enjoy it too.
I think you'll love this book as much as I did. It's a very heartwarming story and shows how much the mother loved her family and did all she could to give them a wonderful life. The children are delightful.
Love this book...buy it, share it with your family and friends, you will not be sorry!

The movie was well done with Julianne Moore, but the book is even more touching and gives details of this truly remarkable woman and her family. The book is written by one of her daughters who actually IS a writer and this shows. Her writing is tight, thoughtful and rich. Well worth your reading time. Highly recommended.
