Prisoner Cell Block H DVD - 25th Anniversary Edition (DVD, 2004)

I watched Cell Block H many years ago - Awesome. This is a good DVD, but I wish they could come out with complete seasons in the USA. Why not? The show was hot here. I wish they would've included the episode when Bea got her memory back. That was one of my favorites. still for any lover of Cell Block H that hasn't seen it in many years this is a true treat.

Well i was looking for the sets for my sister for xmas. So far i got sets 1 & 2. Very happy with the speedy delievery, I can check off my sister from my xmas list now.

This takes me back a few years, I used to watch it on P.B.S. years ago. It has some of the best episodes from the show. It was well worth the price to see Vera again. She was my favorite gaurd.

I love this DVD set. I've, ALWAYS, loved Prisoner Cell Block H and will buy anything that is related to them, that is NOT common.

The only thing I didnt like is that it's too short. There are several episodes, and none go together. Like seeing a soap, but only 1 episode a year. You're lost.

I really liked how it told the stories of why the women went to prison. It was like a soap opera in some ways, It did get a little crazy at times, but the characters seemed so real, like average people. I watched the show when it was on TV, which is the reason I bought it. As I watched it I felt like it was on just yesterday, I started remembering all the stories. I wish the whole collection was available in America,on DVD I would definitely buy it.

I used to watch this on Ch 5 in Wash,DC every night at 11pm, I never missed! After I moved to NC I never saw it again,then one day out of curiosity I did a search on Ebay...guess what?...IT WAS THERE!! I love Maggie Kirkpatrick she is a class act, and the theme song alone was enough to make me buy the set, sung by Lynne Hamilton..I could not be more pleased, after I buy the entire series ALL the gaps will be filled in...TWO THUMBS UP! My mom used to watch this when I was a little kid (8) I remember some of the scenes. Mom passed away 6 years ago and when I came across this series on DVD, I knew I had to have it. I have watched only one of the discs but now understand why Mom liked it.

When I came across this movie set I was so excited. I used to watch the show every week when I was little. I purchased it right away. The only down fall about the movie was it was diffrent shows troughn out the series not the whole series, but that ok it was still a good find concidering that they made the movie in another country.

WHEN I CAME ACROSS THIS SET ON EBAY, I COULDN'T BELIEVE IT! I USED TO WATCH THIS SERIES MANY MANY YEARS AGO! I DECIDED TO PURCHASE IT AND AS SOON AS I GOT IT, I WATCHED IT. IT BROUGHT BACK MANY MEMORIES BUT WAS NOT AS REALISTIC AS I REMEMBER IT. I AM STILL GLAD I BOUGHT IT THOUGH.

I forgot how much I loved watching this 25 years ago....but have enjoyed watching it all over again and again.

this was my favorite show wen i was a teenager my mom wud watch it with me i wish it was on in reruns this dvd is great the whole show comes back 2 u instanly this 3 dvd item was well worth the $$$
