This book is excellent in a introductory or basic physiology class. I would recommend on buying this version because I have looked and the materials and graphs do not change from the newest edition, just page numbers. The CD is very helpful as well. Try to buy this book at the cheapest price. Physiology is Physiology...

my opinion with the old edition books

I like it because it is the principle. So, it do not change the lecture but the explanation sometimes change a little bit; otherwise it is the old edition that is the problem. I just use this book for refference some thing.
