Princess Mononoke is just an all around great movie that both adults and children will love. I hate Disney movies becuase they are black and white, meaning that there is only good and evil. But that, as we all know, isn't the case. Princess Mononoke shows how there isn't any line between good and evil, just a gradual climb. In fact none of the characters in the movie are evil at all. It merely shows how opposing forces fight for what they believe is the right thing when they don't have to fight at all.
