The Princess by Lori Wick (1999, Paperback)

Lori Wick (as always) has a rare gift of bringing romance, moral values, difficult situations and even adventure into each novel she writes. The Princess is no exception.

I lived with a roommate and best friend who didn't quite share my love of books. She did however take notice of some Lori Wick books I was stacking on shelves. Knowing how much I enjoyed each book, she explained that if she could find a good novel that wouldn't bore her to tears, she would read it cover to cover. She asked me to pick a Lori Wick novel which I thought suited her best and that it would be good if there was some romance included in the book. I chose The Princess for her. The 'girl who never reads' started it friday night and by sunday afternoon she was finished! She soon raided my bookshelves of all things Lori Wick and has been addicted ever since.
