Princess Mia is now 21, a college graduate, and heading to Genovia to learn to rule under the wing of her grandmother, Queen Clarisse Renaldi (Julie Andrews, The Sound of Music).

Thoughts of a leisurely transition are foiled when another heir to the throne is thrust forward by his uncle, the power-hungry Viscount Mabrey (John Rhys-Davies, Lord of the Rings), who invokes Genovia's ancient law that an unmarried woman cannot reign. This sequel got a lot of bad reviews when it first opened in movie theaters, but I recommend they be ignored and people should give the movie a fair chance. I may be biased considering my favorite actresses are Julie Andrews and Anne Hathaway. I will admit it is not as good as the first, but it definitely has its moments.

In my opinion the best scene is Princess Mia's sleepover bridal shower with mattress surfing and Julie Andrews singing "Your Crowning Glory." There is plenty of humor in this movie especially with Mia and the young man claiming the throne. There relationship is a love hate one, but where will it end. Will they fall in love or will Mia marry the English photographer?

I like that the characters grew up but they didn't overdo it. Some of the scenes were a bit predictable. Anne Hathaway and Julie Andrews were fantastic as was Joe's character. The mom and best friend, Lily weren't in it alot which were kind of a bummer. I had rented it before and my daughter and I really liked it as we did the first one. It's a keeper.

This movie has been one of my families favorites for as long as it has been out. We watch it every time we see it on the television. It is a cute movie for the entire family.

cute story- strong female role models for young girls. anne hathaway and julie andrews are fabulous. my daughter is only 5 and loves it and appreciates the story line! great for all girls!

What can I say, Anne Hathaway is in it. I pretty would much watch ANYTHING she is in and love it. The movie was put together very well. It was a delight to watch.

It was received in good time and was the second of the series I needed. I havent watched it yet so I don't know how I will like it.

Being a Disney addict I loved this film with Julie Andrews and Anne Hathaway two of my favorite actors. It's often goofy but it is fairly realistic heart warming story this is a fun filled film for the whole family.

Princess Diaries 2 didn't come with case and in ad mention nothing about it. and Aladdin case was busted

I really liked how this movie brought a modern day Cinderella story to life. It really made you believe in princesses again. These things could really happen for anyone. There was a great story line that showed good relationships family wise and also showed that every family has problems. I think that this is a great movie for any child or a family night movie.

We love this movie. It is a cute story line. My daughter is only six and she is glued to it when it is on. Cute characters. This is a nice movie for when they start into real movies instead of animated.

I love Princess Diaries 2! It has tons of humor. that's why I love it! I think everybody should see it. People may think that it is a girly movie, but it's totally not! I think that it may inspire young girls to speak their minds and fight what they think is right.

I love this one better than the first Princess Diaries, but they are both great in their own right. It's a cute little love story and I love all the silly little messes she gets herself into.

It's a movie I really like. I was so happy that I find it on ebay.It's a movie I can watch over and over. The seller got it to me so fast. That made me so happy.

My buying experience on this product was average compared to other purchases on e-bay. The seller did not respond to 2-3 e-mails I sent requesting when I would receive the product because I had already paid for it.

However, I did receive the DVD within a week, I would have liked to have had a response from the seller.
