Synopsis
Movie stars and organized crime mix it up in 1939 Hollywood in this thriller by the author of the Stone Barrington series. Beverly Hills detective Rick Barron's quick thinking gets him a Hollywood job in studio security, which includes keeping British film star Clete Barrow safe...and sober. While Barron's new position has its perks--including a budding romance with an up-and-coming starlet--it also gets him into trouble when he uncovers the ugly truth of what happened to his predecessor.
